Hey Slayers, here is the fuller version featuring the first kiss! https://youtu.be/M9uqrirZ1EM

I like the show bc it’s the teen years I never had.

So excited to react to season 3 in October!

When he said supportive straight friend, it was part joke and seeing if Nick corrects him or not (like a way of asking if they are straight or not without being direct)

As a guy who finds 80% guys I like are straight, I just assume all are straight and wait to be told if fine to cuddle or anything with who I like as feels I might be forcing someone to cuddle who doesn't like a guy to cuddle

You posted this a while ago but just wanted to say that I have two boys 9 and 11 and their classmates in elementary school here in Virginia still talk horrible about anyone that’s gay. The teachers have had to have a meeting about it. I was also bullied for being bi in Texas and that absolutely still goes on in high school there. It’s SO amazing to hear that in New York it wasn’t like this for your school. People think everything’s better, but we still have a long way to go. ❤❤

Hello Slayers! This is a re-upload from my VERY first reaction videos! So sorry for the choppy edits and the censoring! This was before i knew what i was doing ! lol also I didn't realize the kiss (kisses?) got cut out and now it's too late to fix it. But figured it's better than nothing. Just know I obv love it. Check out my Patreon for the uncensored uncut reactions to season 2 & 3! https://www.patreon.com/BillyKearney for edited version here on the channel.

Enjoying rewatching this with you Billy

I can’t wait for season 3 !!! It’s going to be amazing. Season 1 came out 2022 & season 2 came out 2023. Now S3 coming out in October 3 it’s going to ahaha 🤣 so excited

Just starting to rewatch with you Billy

Hey Billy!!!

I love how you said " she's going to be my favorite" when Tori showed up ...... She is my Favorite 🖤🩶🤍💜

Call me by your name it's great!!

I’ve been to 2 schools and the one I was at majority of my life was a smaller town so they were still making comments. I got outed by a “friend.” When I first started dating the only other openly queer girl. We would get stared at, guys would make comments a lot, and we’d just walk into school together and hear people talk about us to the point I had to end the relationship bc I was to young to handle it. Then when I moved to a bigger city it didn’t happen ever so I feel like it’s dependent on area but rural Ohio is not a fan of being gay.

I believe they are like 15

I know this is a repost, so not sure if your question about the bisexual YouTuber at 57:09 was answered in your original post. He is a real YouTuber named Courtney-Jai, and his channel is here: https://www.youtube.com/@Courtney-Jai. He also has a series of Heartstopper reactions and discusses the video he did for the show and how it came about.

For your other question at 1:01:43 about experiences for LGBTQ globally - NYC and most large metropolitan places/cities are much more progressively minded. It's very much not the same in smaller, more rural, areas. Even now, conservative states like Florida and Texas are passing laws banning trans healthcare and forbidding any mention of LGBTQ in schools. I wish that there had been discussions like that in my health classes in school and  had had shows like Heartstopper growing up so that I could see that I wasn't alone. I grew up in Ohio and stayed in the closet until after high school because I thought I was alone and unnatural; it took me years to accept myself. Outside of the US, there are many countries where being LGBTQ is illegal and punishable by imprisonment - or worse. Our community has come a long way, but there's still a long way to go.

Why did you cut out the kiss?

You should totally watch Red, White and Royal Blue.  It’s a fantastic gay/bi movie!

Hey, How are Ya?! 💅💜

I’ve been to 6 schools and been openly queer since 8 I’ve had only one comment on my sexuality and it was a good comment, so no not really I think it’s mostly for dramatic reasons. The only comments  I would hear was from boy saying about that’s so gay and stuff yet they hung around the gay boy at school. So jokes Yh but never heard a true insult

No first kiss 😢
