Has Stu been doing absolutely nothing for 30 years? Or has he been right under our noses this whole time?

He’s been feeling a little woozy for the last 30 years.

@Not_yungg 10 months ago

he better hit us with the "SUPRISE SYDNEY"

I feel like Stu would be the guy who could totally get away with saying "I wanted to wait 30 years and make a big comeback."

Stu: I'll be right back... 30 years later Sorry, Sid, You are no Sharon Stone, I got distracted, huh. 😅

Sydney: stu? After all this time?
Stu: always…

Remember, Stu needed to recover from his injuries

@commie_maybe 1 year ago

I never noticed Mickey was gasping from chasing Sid. That's a kinda neat detail.

I bet Stu was shadowing everyone for years and He's lately been finding out that his Cult Members failed to complete his Ultimate Task

What Has Stu Macher Been Doing For 30 Years?

1996 - Playing Diablo 1
2000 - Playing Diablo 2
2004 - Playing World of Warcraft

2026 - Killing in Scream 7

I believe that Stu became a co-founder of a pizzeria for children to go and escape this tortured world. That potentially used animatronics as the entertainment

If Stu is alive, i wonder what his opinion of Billy Loomis is now. His opinion and willingness to cooperate seemed to change after hearing Billy's real motive - his shocked facial expression, his reluctance to give Billy the knife back, etc. Does Stu forgive Billy, and his motive is to just simply finish carrying out the will of his "best friend"? Or does Stu now hate Billy because he's aware that Billy never respected him, and was planning to sell him out the whole time?

Perhaps the latter is why Stu embraced the role of a cult leader, because now he's the one in charge and is admired and respected.

There’s one clue that I think everybody overlooks.. the signature knife wipe is Stu’s move.. we see it when he pretends to kill Billy. When we see other Gostfaces do that, they would either learn that from Stu, or it would be Stu himself behind the mask. Pay close attention to these moments, because the writing throughout the franchise has deliberately made this one of Ghostface’s “signature” moves 🤔

I like the idea of connecting all the way back to Scream 2 with Mickey, then 4 with Charlie, then 5 with Amber and Richie. I love the Stu being alive plot that's finally happening, but it is kinda strange it took 30 years for him to act, this way it's not like he was just chilling doing nothing.

@romefame 1 year ago

Imagine the impact of stu just casually revealing himself to sid and gale and with a sharp grin just chuckles "shame about dewey but just like dewey I'll finish what I started huh gale"

@WilliamTucker-x1q 1 year ago

If he shows up in Scream 7 and his first line Isn't surprise Sydney it will be the biggest let down.

@ReyMarMusic 1 year ago

Just imagine if this theory is right on the nose and they revealed that Stu has been in plain sight pulling the strings the whole time! Woodsboro PD would have to hire you as a full time detective with bonus and guaranteed pension.

Scream 7 will either be the first time a scream movie flopped or it will be in the conversation for best scream movie ever

@Hopesbutler 1 year ago

I agree with everything you said. Even if he's in a flashback i bet that he is going to be alive too. It's a psych out. Roman helping Stu escape makes sense as well. I think they have set this up perfect for him sitting home running this crazy website.

@calebjackson2490 1 year ago

I have a theory that Sydney will be attacked in the opening scene and ends up unmasking Stu. Then they send Stu away to a psyche ward and escapes like Hannibal Lector
