They might as well just call them signature moves & call it a day at this point

I do miss when finishers actually finished a match.

I would prefer a bunch of counters to false finishes....hence why Angle vs Undertaker at No Way Out 06 was fire

I understand why Baron Corbin was so protective of his End of Days finishing move. It's such a cool finisher. The only one to kick out of it in the WWE was Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 38.

It's crazy that wrestlers like The Undertaker were able to have multiple moves that ended matches on the first hit...tombstone, last ride

It’s true. Sadly, it’s true.

When we used to watch a wrestler hit their Signature and then their Finisher immediately after, and we knew it was over. Sometimes, depending on the wrestlers, they’d kick out once and then eat the Finisher a second time and that’s it.

But now….we get like 5 Finishers

I do miss when finishers ended matches.

2:51 I watched some classic All Japan King's road matches and those finishers like Kobashi's Burning hammer, Misawa's Tiger driver '91 or emerald flosion or Kawada's Ganzo bomb look devastating. It felt those were more devastating than your typical finisher and we're used as a last resort type move

Maaaaann the first clip of Kenta Kobashi, he's one of my favorite wrestlers from Japan.
Mainly cause of that finisher, it's so tough.

Perfect example. Rock & HHH had an amazing Ironman match at Judgment Day. And I can't even count on one hand how many times both used their finisher on one another.

The thing I don’t really like is when they hit the finish and decide to hit them with another one because that systematically tells the audience they know the move can’t finish with one

on goldberg kicking out of the leg drop.  prior to wrestling hogan, goldberg been kicking out of other guys big move like Hugh Morris.  So we established that he does not take a pin from a finisher.

The Burning Hammer is my all time Fav Wrestling move

Yo Ross! This was a great video. Don't shy away from the longer videos, man. There are some jewels out there, this is one of them. Great job again.

Let’s get deeper, Orton gave Seth a boost with his neck and that’s why seth was up so high 16:36

WrestleMania 17 was the best and worst thing to happen to wrestling.

this vid was FIRE instant sub to the og channel

4:50 “alive”

Ik they were starting to ruin finishers when they overused the Superkick. As a Shawn Micheals fan, seeing the sweet chin music be wasted was annoying. But pro wrestling aint like how it was back in the day

The pedigree not making the list is wild. Most devastating move in wrestling history. So vicious they had to modify it.
