This is why the my hero academia fandom gets bullied so much and I feel bad for the normal people in the fandom

99% of the fandom needs serious therapy

edit: alright I get it! Yall are the 1% that is normal.

If the military ever decided to weaponise cringe. They should definitely start by studying the MHA fandom.

random japanese fan here who didn’t know a lot of people kept arguing about MHA fans till now
i thought the fandom is pretty calm until i found the english fandom wtf is happening here
(sorry if my english is bad)

honestly feel bad for the cosplayers / fanartists / writers who put out genuinely good content getting overshadowed and hurried by all the weird shit

"shipping two 15 year olds"
- every fandom ever

This fandom makes the Dream fandom look like amateurs.

MHA fandom
1) normal=5%
2) entertaining and aren’t serious about what they post= 15%
3) absolutely insane= 80%
Totally accurate ratio

The two sides of the MHA fandom:
1. Oh man, what a cool show

2. Bakugo X Todoroki X Deku 🥀

A minute of silence for the 6 sane people in the mha fandom… 😔

mha should be called :Mental,Health,Asociacion

3:43 BRO DEKUS WIG LOOKS SO GOOFY

i used to be like "i love MHA!" And now i just watch it in secret like a closeted gay

(edit: thanks for the likes.)

I feel so bad for the author. Imagine putting all sorts of effort into a story you're really passionate about and then this is your fandom.

The fact the fandom got so mad when they made uraraka say she likes deku is soo dumb

7:16 as an Omori and MHA fan, I can’t go anywhere near either fandom 🤢 they legit don’t understand the source and it’s so freaking cringe 🫩

9:50 to be fair, his voice acting is really spot on, it’s cringe but he’s killing it as deku

this video is an eye opener for me. i didnt know the fandom was this insane, sadly it isnt just mha. its anime on the whole. some guy at work started to be a complete jerk when i told him yes i watch anime. i just enjoy the medium for what it is. a great past time but some make it there lifestyle and we end up with this nonsense

I honestly think the fan base was the reason why deku changed so drastically starting with his vigilante arc
I think horikoshi saw what the fandom had done to his mc and said “imma prove them wrong” by pushing his character away from the cutie cinnamon roll boi that he was towards a more hardened and serious person, and that applies to the rest of the story too
