An entire Jim Lee drawn comic of Hellboy would be one of my most prize possessions if he had made it.

I love how he starts out with his kids bunny pencil! It's not about the supplies folks, it's about the practice time!

Jim Lee and Bob Ross are the only traditional artists I know to embrace and turn mistakes into a better thing

EDIT: happy accidents

He’s right about Mike Mignola. I used to live in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn where Mike lived. I worked at a printing store back in the early 90’s, where he would make the copies Jim is referring to. I kept the ones he didnt want and still have them to this day. Bill Wylie also lived a block away from me there as well.

I love how Jim uses ordinary children pencil to make a sketch, such simple, and yet pro.
