Is the new Nocpix Ace 2 S60R really "generations ahead"? I put the £5,299 flagship thermal riflescope on my .223 and took it out across several September evenings to find out.
In this review I look at the full Ace 2 range and pricing, and how the S60R and H50R meet the equipment conditions for Natural England's new CL55 night shooting licence (and why the H35R doesn't). I also break down the tech: the 1280x1024 sensor, Ocular Zoom 2.0, the S60R-exclusive Dual Clarity modes, the integrated LRF 2.0 and ballistic calculator, and the build and battery. Then it's out into the field, with roe, muntjac, a fox cub at just under 300m and deer ranged at over 405m.
