Deception is one of the best mk games ever made. The characters, costumes, content, quality, lore value, and extra features make this game so legendary in the mk series

This the Mortal Kombat game where Mileena's sex appeal skyrocketed. She was a cool character before, but she became my favorite MK character in this game...

I really wish they would make another Conquest mode in a future game!

Ahh one of my favorite video games of all time. That Konquest mode was ahead of its time. We need a similar Konquest in the next MK game.

I just realized something on MK deception that it took me over a decade to know... on the Portal stage, there are those MK3 Towers in the background with the character icon

they should do hd collection that includes deadly alliance, deception, armageddon and shaolin monks

Who else had this, deadly alliance, and Armageddon in a PS2/x box collection?

It's weird that unpopular characters like Bo Rai Cho and Li Mei returned in this game instead of more interesting newcomers like Frost and Nitara. They even added Bo Rai Cho to Mortal Kombat X for some reason.

By far my favorite MK game. I would love to see a remake or remaster of it.

Fun Fact: In a interview with John Tobias, he stated that Reiko was indeed originally going to be the reincarnation of Shao Kahn. Of course when Tobias left, Ed Boon was left with the creative developing so he altered Reiko’s story and made him separate from Kahn.

that havik scene was hilarious

I like the combat mechanics of deception more than mk10. I like side stepping and 3D mechanics than the lame side to side fighting.

The conquest mode is the best MK story of all the franchise. THE ONLY GAME YOU CAN VISIT AND FREELY WALK AROUND EVERY RELM/WORLD WE HAVE EVER HEARD ABOUT EVER SINCE MK ORIGINATED

Another fact: Havik's beta name was Skab.

Man, the sheer amount of time I spent in konquest mode alone is staggering. Exploring all the realms, searching every nook and cranny for hidden chests, it was always a thrill when you would spot secret characters that only showed up for a short time before they disappeared again.

I hope Ashrah comes back I like her 😊😊😊👍👍

Mileena’s eyes changes from Kitana’s to hers when she gets damaged

I think MK Deception is much more interesting than MK Deadly Alliance. It's one of my favorite mk games (same with Armageddon). This game introduced Ashrah, Havik, Dairou. I really love them. Mileena, Kenshi, Ermac, Jade, Tanya, Kabal looked amazing in Deception. Fantastic Konquest mode!!!
