Fun Fact: Lobo was Stan Lee's favourite DC character... let that sink in for a second

Somehow, I completely forgot that he got kidnapped into a spelling bee, but stayed because he enjoyed the words given to him.

Need us not forget, The Easter Bunny contracted Lobo to kill Santa Claus

3:02 I actually fall into a fourth camp: “you know who Lobo is…and that’s about it” lol

Lobo is a 40K Ork that got issekaied into DC Comics.

And I love him for it.

1. Can't wait to see how he plays off of Supergirl in the movie as final survivors of their planets, talk about different perspectives
2. I'm curious about your thoughts on Crush, Lobo's disaster lesbian daughter he couldn't give a frag about if he tried

Characters that grow legs and run are honestly the most fun to write in my experience, so I'd bet money Lobo's writers have just as much fun writing him as you have reading him

Two things I wanna say:
1. The dynamic between Lobo and Vril Dox feels like Alucard and Integra from Hellsing, but especially Hellsing Abridged.
2. To anyone who wants more Lobo as well as a more modern entry point for him, he just got a new ongoing as part of the DC Next Level initiative drawn by Jorge Corona (go-to fill-in for DANIEL WARREN JOHNSON) and written by Skottie Young of I Hate Fariyland fame. Which is quite possibly the single most perfect modern creative team for this absolutely unhinged bastich. There are 2 issues out already, you don’t need to know anything going in, so just go grab it and have some fraggin’ fun.

No mention of his immortality because Etrigan would invade Heaven if they didn't get Lobo out of Hell and even reincarnation just made him madder. (Great illustration of Lobo as a pissed off squirrel).

4th camp: You know who Lobo is and are relatively neutral towards him

When I was ten, my grandpa got me a couple vintage comics as a way to connect with me. I don’t have them anymore, but since his passing I’ve been wanting to try and find them again—especially one in particular because of how zany the setting felt. The characters were colorful and wild and sci-fi, but I couldn’t remember the name. All I could remember was this one crazy jester antihero who wore a purple and orange bodysuit. SO YOU CAN IMAGINE MY SHOCK WATCHING THIS WHEN—

He would unironically fit perfectly in The Boys universe.
Like, he is the ULTIMATE parody of 90's antiheroes, I could see him teaming up with Butcher to knock Homelander off his high horse, either out of genuine respect for the OG Man of Steel, or just because he's bored.

14:18 you say that, but that is a heroic level of patience from lobo

@tigereyes4594 4 months ago

Not gonna lie Lobo scared me as a kid, so I never bothered to learn much about him after hearing about his powers. This video was a ride. XD

I remember the Lobocop crossover where they put Lobo's brain inside a cyborg body. It was freaking hilarious.

23:18 An Epic reference AND a Lobo video AT THE SAME TIME!? Frag yeah!

8:44 Khunds just speak Spanish. “Gnawing on your entrails and enjoying it” is just what wolves do.

His current design reminds me of Rob Zombie, especially the cover of Dragula.

I really hope Jason Momoa gets his own spinoff, that they base it on The Last Czarian, and they get Edgar Wright for director. Just imagine bat shit crazy R-rated Scott Pilgrim esque chaos
