local australian man reviews australia

Unbelievable this game is 10 years old this year. Still remember the day it was released and the hype around the game.

My best friend died right around the time horizon 4 came out and I fired up horizon 3 and his drivatar  was in my roster so j was able to see him and race him after he died. And his divatar drove just like him.             Edit, thanks for all the likes and to the haters just have fun hating😅

This game does not look like 10 years old. So crazy how it could be released today and still look beautiful

Horizon 3 always felt like I was taking a digital vacation. The environmental ambience really sold it for me.

FH 3 will always have a special place in my heart

The biggest thing for me that Forza Horizon 3 still succeeds in these days is the colour.
There's something about the vibrancy and contrast of colours in FH3 that I rarely see in other games, it's beautiful. The only ones that I can think of the top of my head are Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 and Uncharted 4.
I also love the map, it's still my favourite Horizon location (I'm not Australian).

Looking forward to your FH4 review in 2028!

My favorite Forza horizon of all time

Edit: Timeless FM also became my favorite radio station

2:52 Such a cute kangaroo 🥹❤

Ah, I remember watching AR12 play-through of this game and Toyota also not being included at launch EDIT: It was FH4, 10 YEARS AGO! wow I am old

I played some FH3 before FH6 came out, and it holds up rather well, which was really surprising for me

The pc version does this game the 60fps justice it deserves and luckily if you own it digitally on xbox you already have it on PC!

horizon 3 is to this day my most played horizon. the map was beautiful, the weather and colors were outstanding, the soundtrack was and still is the best in the series, the multiplayer lobbies were far better for meeting new friends, it was far better than 4 and 5 was on a steering wheel setup and honestly it just had such a tangible soul. i have so many fond memories retreating to horizon australia to get away from real world problems and driving that map to epitaph radio is a feeling even horizon 6 fails to recapture. maybe it's because i have changed so much as a person and my life is far different to how it was then, but regardless, the memory of playing this game in my room during that 2016-2018 period will be treasured for the rest of my life, whereas horizon 4 and 5 will genuinely be completely forgotten because this game had something incredibly special about it which every other forza, even the first two, completely lacked. in fact, horizon 3 was the game i started really tryharding the online racing and rivals gamemode, and i used to have a red A class acura integra that i dominated everyone with. in every horizon game since, the red integra is the first car i purchase and it's rolling the streets of japan in 6 now :)

... That E3 'Wicked Game' trailer will never be topped.

Chills 👌👏

This is by far my favorite fh. Even after fh6.

The jump from 2 to 3, to me was incredible.
I was in LA at the time, and got a free entrance to E3 where they presented the final game. Did 2hrs line to play it in the booth, they had a irl centenario in front of tbe stand.

Man, this game hit me just right. The highlight of the francise for me.

I remember getting this game after I just bought my Xbox one from my own money back in 2016 (first big purchase)! During the lockdown, I aimed for completing the whole game. All the achievements, races, championships, etc.

This game will always have a special place in my heart. What a game!

The sky capture technique for this game was truly something to praise. I believe it still has the best looking skies of ANY Forza title ever released. The skies even in Horizon 6 or motorsports 8 don't look as pretty as they do in FH3.

In my opinion this is still the most innovative horizon game to date relative to its predecessor and successor. It was crazy to see this game come out in 2016 with graphics that hold up to today’s standards, plus the new customization which was insane for Forza at the time, great sound track, fantastic map and just excellent vibes overall. Maybe I’m a little biased because I was like 13 when this game came out but idk. This game will always have a special place in my heart, easily either the best or second best horizon game ever.

As someone who lives in western Washington state of the United States, I remember being blown away at the accuracy when first playing Alan Wake, and can relate to the excitement of seeing how game developers capture an area I'm very familiar with.

This game's visuals and map just looks stunning, it's one of the rare games that managed to just blow me away and not even fh6 managed to do that
