En las montañas Bitterroot, un guía de caza acepta llevar a un grupo de hombres ricos a una expedición de invierno.
Pero pronto descubre la verdad: no vinieron a cazar alces.
In the Bitterroot Mountains, a hunting guide agrees to take a group of wealthy men on a winter expedition.
But he soon discovers the truth: they did not come to hunt elk.
They came to erase the last caribou of an ancient lost line… so the land could be sold, drilled, and destroyed.
What they did not know was that something on the mountain still protected those animals.
And when the men crossed that line, the forest stopped hiding.
This is a story of horror in the snow, human greed, ancient creatures, and a mountain that does not forgive those who try to kill the last breath of a species.

Awesome job
Break hard to one side,
Hike a ways,
Then break back to the opposite direction as I was originally going,
Then come up behind it & kill it.
Grizzlies are super smart!
Then you can hear everything in the forest.
If I hear anything then I would use my 10x50mm bino's & look in any direction I hear noise.
An adjustable hiking pole works great to set the bino's on to steady them.
This then becomes a war of nerves between me that predator:
He can't move or else he'll be heard.
I'd wear my magnetic compass on a cord around my neck.
When I'm sure of the predator's direction then I would set that azimuth on my compass & close the gap silently like still-hunting.
You (& I) need to be proactive not passive.
Like a grizzly:
If something is hunting you then hunt it back.
I normally have 2 firearms with me (this is what the Chinese called them in Chinese when they invented fire arms):
For scouting trips: my magnum revolver strapped to the front of my chest & my 12 gauge pump shotgun with magnum slugs & buckshot alternating.
For hunting trips: that same revolver plus my magnum rifle.
I don't guide:
But if I guided (which I do not) then with the same gear as scouting.
