Time to coach Drew Brads’ kid

Caiden really went like - all my video was over exaggerated I’m sorry Dylan ur right

the debate we never knew we needed

requirements for a good day:
- cubing session
- Brandon true uploads

Great , Thank you for this.... my sub-20 ass is watching this like I am going to 2027 finals!!

Dylan hasn’t had this good of a “beef” since cubing velociraptor 😂

Thanks for this interesting conversation. Dylan’s blunt honesty and no-nonsense, straight-up style is truly appreciated.

ngl I though Caiden's next response would be a diss track lol

I really love our cubing community!!, how different opinions can come and get discussed with humility!! Great discussion Dylan, Caiden. Thank you Brandon for this

Hey brandon I’ve been cubing for 8 years and I average just about the same as you. I’m getting back into cubing after a 2 year break and these videos are really nice to see as I want to finally become sub 10 and beyond. As I’m watching I feel you’re falling into a “what exactly do I need to do” mindset that I and many other cubers have. I constantly look up “How to break _ seconds on ___” and such or “when should i learn___.” What I’ve taken away most from your videos is that cubing is a journey different to everyone, it’s not so important when skills are learned but that you end up with a high quality of all skills in the end. I think you have all the information and plenty of resources you need for the first 3 years of your training to get to a level majority of cubers dream of. My unprofessional opinion is to just train what you like (goes back to your attention span as I have the same issue) and let time show results, and then do the really hard stuff. Sub 10 and even down to 8 second average, again in my unprofessional opinion, is extremely doable by just being really good at the basics (cross+1, good turning, good recognition, good look ahead/prediction) Over time I plan to practice all of these to a point where it’s just second nature, just like how my skills to average 10-11 seconds is second nature right now. I’m having a lot of fun following along, learning, and creating my own training plan along side you. I’m sure we’ll all get far!

This was a fantastic discussion. I found that Dylan has a better way of describing his points in a way I (personally) can understand... however everybody was able to articulate their point of view. Brandon - thank you for setting up this discussion. I wish there was more of this content in cubing. This was kind of a debate but also there was mad respect from all participants.... with that level of respect nobody feels threatened and discussions can actually flourish. Thank you to all three of you.

Then there's me who can predict 2 cross pieces 😂

The most important aspect is turn speed/smooth turning. After that it’s prediction.  If you can 1 look a cube and have good turning you will be great.  If you can predict the entire solve but can’t turn well it’s going to be a bad solve.

please coach easan, he’s the goat of the triangle area speedcubers

47:40 we used to wonder "who's gonna work on that system? Whos gonna learn it?" about ZB and now here we are.

This needs more views. Needs a better title like CUBING DRAMA: Battle To The Death or smth lol

Bro I want a podcast but with Marty so he can see what has happened

Alot of cool people in one video

The turning pill is real.. I'm cooked

This was a great conversation. We need more of these.
