You're a star! All other videos I've seen had doors with screws on the outside no good to me, my door is like yours, had no idea how to get into it! .. thanks so much for this video, much appreciated 👍

Thanks for the help. I just finished replacing my hinge. I used business cards instead of screwdrivers to stop the clips going back in. Worked a treat.

Exact same model number broke and I described it my wife as knackered. Wasn't expecting to find a how to video with the same description. Amazing stuff. In my case the bottom part of hinge broke off 3 years ago, Still worked for 3 years. Top part broke about a month ago- still being using the door with selotape 🤣. Great to have it fixed now thanks to your video

This video actually helped me a lot in getting mine fixed! It was the large black plastic surround I needed to replace as the hinge locating pin had snapped through it, making it drop and not sit right when open.

I only needed 2 flathead screwdrivers to get this off though, one to act as a placeholder in opening the gap up and one to actually loosen the clips. Easy enough. Whole process took about 40 mins.

Cheers!

Your how-tos are very helpful, whenever I use them they always work

thanks a million. Excellent video. I have the same model machine with this problem and could not see how the door trip came off - earlier models have exposed screws on the inside of the door.

Thanks! Finally found a video that showed me how to remove the casing. After this it was quite easy.
I only used one screwdriver to loosen the case. Tip: at the position of the click-system just pull the case to the outside with the screwdriver.
Thanks again for your helpfull video!👍

A quick advise for everyone who will need to remove the frame. Don’t lay the door on the floor like in the video because the snaps will snap back because of the weight of the door. Instead hold the door upright with one hand and pull back the white frame a bit and then losen all snaps with a screwdriver with the other hand, will take you one minute only and you will not scratch the door because you don’t need any force

Thank you very much from one Irish man (living in Vienna)to another. This was the help I needed. This is a case of built-in obsolescence by Bosch and the door casing is constructed to make it as hard as possible for amateurs to dismantle. But gratefully you showed us how to do it. Thanks a lot!

Lifesaver. Could not find any other reference to that damned cover and how to get it off. I already had the correct spare hinge, but watched your repair video anyway..brilliant!
