I love love LOVE this Kirsten!  I so needed this today; my trying to get into collage has me banging my head against the table with frustration at the lack of soul in it, even when the papers used are full of it.  This reminds me that with using the gel plate for more painterly/sketcherly effects brings back that soul every time.  And the beauty of the gel plate is you can create those complex, multidimensional prints as well when you use multiple layers, placements, tools, mediums and effects.  I also remember some of your earlier videos where you then took the gel prints and effectively turned them into abstract "paintings" afterwards by following lines and patterns and using the pastels.  Maybe this is the way I need to go to use up prints that would otherwise sit there.  And who doesn't love a good doodle.  I do think collage has a place in my work, I can create some really interesting pieces with my lino prints that wouldn't otherwise be possible, but not for what I've been trying to do.  What would I do without you?! :face-red-heart-shape: ps I hope you don't mind but I screen shotted that wiggly stencil to copy, it's just delicious!

Your last pull- I really like how it came out. If you still wanted more control could clear gesso work? Or a layer of matte medium? one other thing I saw somewhere was dish washing soap- and it was so weird to me it stuck with me- but also, so weird I can’t recall exact technique. Btw, adore your videos!
