Nick Bockwinkel will forever be the greatest AWA World Heavyweight champion of all time, glad he was part of this documentary and later inducted in the WWE Hall of fame. 😀👍🏻

Gagne's ego shut AWA down. Not making Hogan his champ really killed the promotion.

So glad WWE finally released this one to youtube. This is the best documentary WWE ever put out. The only thing I knew about AWA back when it came out was that Shawn Michaels had wrestled there. After watched this for the first time it was around the time when ESPN Classic was airing their old AWA shows. Watched every single episode. AWA 4 Life!

lol up in Canada, we got the final days of the AWA, and I remember enjoying the "Team challenge series". Reminded me of an NHL or a MLB regular season, lol

One of my favorite docs, had no idea what the AWA was in 2006 when I bought the dvd. It introduced me to Verne, Bockwinkel and Billy 'fricken' Robinson and have been a fan every since.

I remember attending WrestleRock '86 as a kid. What a night!

One of the best docs that WWE produced. The stuff from the 70s and the declining years of the company are absolutely fascinating. RIP VERNE

The Road Warriors as Tag Team Champs and Rick Martel as the AWA Champion in 1984 might have been the best year of wrestling that the AWA had ever seen.

The AWA became like a small market baseball team when they got someone good they eventually left.

A lot of goners in this documentary, my god. I remember buying this DVD back in 2007. I used the buy so many WWE documentary dvds. The Hardy Boyz one, Road Warriors, Ultimate Warrior, WCCW, 2 Undertaker ones and many many more. One of the last ones I bought was the John Cena purple hat DVD. The John Cena Experience. It came with an autographed 8x10, which I still have.

I had some great times at the Showboat in Las Vegas when I was 12 watching the Midnight Rockers, Jimmy Snuka, Curt Henning, One Man Gang and so many others.

I first saw this DVD when it was released many years ago. I am 54 and remember reading about/watching all of the events in the 80s in the AWA. Brought backs lots of memories... Condolences to all those who are no longer alive that were featured in this extraordinary video.
