A nice informative tour of this 70FT Aqualine Canterbury wide beam, which has probably got the most storage I've seen on any wide beam boat ever, I also noticed "Twiglet" testing out both the sofabed and the king sized super bed which she gave full marks for as she didn't want to get off!

Wooooooooow! I have claustrophobia and could live on this. The most beautiful boat I’ve ever seen! Wow!!!.

A lot of YouTubers seem to not rate Aqualine boats and seem to go with smaller companies and they have troubles. The fit out on the Aqualine product is in my opinion the best, and if I ever get into the narrowboating life (if Queer Starmer doesn't kill it) I will buy their product.

The wide boats are areal treasure but really restrictive in movement if I could snap my figures I would make every one happy and widen all canals . Thanks for the tour the wife loves those wide boats. Happy trails

Gorgeous boat! So big! On that note, as a West Country girl I’d say Gertie is a variation on ‘gert’ as in large! But that my guess at it! X

What a beautiful boat. Lucky you for getting a nosey around. Sorry, I know Nuzzing (as the German guard in Stalag 19 was fond of saying) about Gertie. See you next time 👋👋

Fancy teasing us with a beautiful boat and then say it's not for sale.

We have the same TV setup in our motor home you could do the same in your boat by using your gunnel space in your room and box it off. ❤

Bit late to the party but, since no one seems to have answered.....That's not a dogbox as I know it. It's a butterfly hatch , so-called because the panes lift out to the side like wings or vertically on screws. A dogbox is usually on the foredeck of a traditional sailing boat. They are hatches built like a little doghouse above, not flush with, the deck with a flat"roof" that slides open. Usually to a bosun's locker for lines & whatnot or a ladder down to a crew cabin.

Fun vid & lovely boat. You're like the NautiStyles of canal boating. Twiglet is quite right to object to the telly lift. Guarantee that will get stuck halfway soon enough. Projector & roll up screen is the way to go, imo.

I originally ordered an aqualine, but at 62ft (VAT less) wouldn't fit on Leeds and Liverpool canal. So I bought from the same builder as you, to avoid VAT Wish I could have afforded the VAT for the Aqualine 😊

Narrow beam doesn’t make sense. Elon just came out with aluminum Oxide batteries which recharge in 20 minutes/3’Xs the distance no fire chance! Love the Brits!
