Considering I'm literally watching this video right now because I can't concentrate on my homework, I'd say I'm afflicted.

having being diagnosed with ADHD I can say that this video is very realaxing

This is fate trying to get me to finally get tested lol

I loved this. I especially liked that Alise used real testing methods, not just something she made up on the fly. It adds an extra level of depth that isn't always present with other ASMRtists.

I've seen in the comments that apparently there are lots of people getting ADHD diagnoses. I myself have been tested several times for ADHD by several different doctors since I report many of the common symptoms. I've also failed every single test because the reality is that they're symptoms of my epilepsy - diagnosed when I was 9 by an neurologist who specializes in epilepsy, and confirmed by multiple others - and the medications I'm on to control said epilepsy, as well as my Asperger's - diagnosed when I was 11 by someone who, like the neurologists, specialized in the field - nowadays referred to as "high-functioning autism".

It really goes to show that just because you exhibit many symptoms of a given disorder or syndrome doesn't mean you actually have it. All it really means is that you could have it. So many people are diagnosed with ADHD when in reality the source of their issues lies elsewhere, and by being diagnosed with something they might not even actually have, the real problem remains untreated. I remember having to try multiple different seizure meds over the course of 4-5 years before finally finding something that works, and then spending that long again adjusting the dosage so I can finally live my life like everyone else. It won't necessarily become apparent that you've been wrongly diagnosed just because the initial treatment plan doesn't work or is inadequate. Heck, my best friend was wrongly diagnosed several times over the course of 8+ years before a doctor finally recognized he had a disease normally found in adults several decades older than he was at the time.

Don't just rely on doctors, especially general practitioners, to tell you what you do and don't have. Don't reject their advice or expertise just because they might be wrong, but do your own research too. Find other people with your symptoms/condition. Read forum discussions from informed individuals about it. Learn as much as you can from reliable sources, and if/when you are diagnosed, keep on going. My mother did research on my condition long before I was ever diagnosed with epilepsy or Asperger's, and it still took 5 years to get the right diagnosis. But an old friend of mine and her parents just accepted what the doctor told them, and it took them over 12 years to finally get her proper diagnosis.

I can't get over how much I adore this girl. She just seems so pleasant to be around. Like the most soft, gentle soul. I know this is asmr, so hard to gauge someone's full personality off of it, but I just love gentle women like this. Been watching this channel for a while now and just wanted to finally say that lol
