Our two lovebirds, they are now years old and have bred several times here, in one of the large cages. Pastel Green and Parblue Blue, they've been here for the last few years. Until now, they are still close and are always together in the big cage. These two lovebirds are still like that, and there are also several other lovebirds who have changed partners several times. Now these two lovebirds seem to be no longer interested in breeding. I don't know whether it's because of the age factor, which according to several breeders around here: if lovebirds are around three years old, then on average they are not interested in breeding anymore. They will stay together, in one nest box, but will not lay eggs. Or if it lays an egg, then it doesn't hatch. These two lovebirds are still healthy and always eat well.
