"That's the beauty of the Gaycation." Reads like an Always Sunny line it's crazy.

i do think it's important to know everyone in this story is british. imagining all this talk in whichever english accent you prefer enhances it tremendously

I love how Pat just keeps his dog in a pouch like a marsupial.

Dog shown, all is forgiven, MP3 is forever.

There's a reality TV show called "My Husband's not gay" about a bunch of Mormon couples where the husband is definitely gay, but chose to get married to a woman anyways because their faith demands it. They called themselves "same sex attracted" as if it's just a neurodivergent thing and they claim they've never acted on those attractions, but the first episode had the men all get together and go on a camping trip while they left their wives and kids at home....

[Pat] "…you have run into, at some point in your life, people who just have convinced themselves, very deeply, of a completely insane nonsense reason of why something must be, right?"

Yes Pat, we have.

Gaycation, all I've ever wanted.

Gaycation, had to gay away.

I want the gaycation story to be real so bad only because it's the funniest reddit post I've read in a loooong time

My only addition to this topic is "What about Gay Sabbatical?"

"Gaycation" would make for a great name for an all-lesbian Go-Go's tribute band

The casual-yet-dramatic reveal of Caboose made me burst out laughing. He's so chill.

My friends and I discussed this, and the most serious read we came to was they these men are at least bisexual but in denial over it. Doesn't excuse them cheating on their wives, but it's equally bizarre they choose to confess to the cheating.

The funnier read is that they joined a sissification cult.
