"As father and son-"
"-do you care? Does it matter?"

That encapsulates their storyline so well in a short a line as possible. Bdubs was constantly fighting over whether etho was trustworthy with cleo and scar

It wasn’t until I was watching Jimmy’s reaction video that I realized that the reason Martyn betrays the agreement (in this video, with the lore that’s been added) is because, when Scott mentions Scar and Grian’s Third Life battle, it reminds Martyn that his first loyalty is to Ren, and that Scar and Grian were the Red King’s biggest rivals, and Impulse tried to play multiple sides, rather than being loyal to Dogwarts, and Scott was on the side of Monopoly Mountain.

I love the “LETS DANCE!” Part so much!! That line is indented in my head-

I don't think there is higher praise for a fan creation than the original creator saying "this has inspired me". Evil Anvil deserves it!

He didn't touch on this
but all of the teams were facing the same direction
EXCEPT THE MEAN GILLS.
BECAUSE MARTYN BETRAYED SCOTT IN THE END, THEY WERE FACING OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS. MARTYN WAS FACING AWAY.
i don't know if anyone else picked up on that but Evil Anvil, well done.

4:19 I’m convinced the reverb here makes it sound like Ren is also talking, which is a great touch

I really like the idea that, when the Watchers speak to Martyn, they use Ren's voice

my absolute favorite part of that song is impulse’s line of “that makes me the last member of ties”, because it finishes the last rhyme and establishes the new one

one of my favorite things that were pointed out is that before "clear that throat before I clear that clock!" theres a percussion of someone clearing their throat, and its SO good! what an INCREDIBLE video, i love watching martyn react to these cause he gives feedback and notices smaller details

They way your jaw drops when you saw the flashback brings me joy every time! Evil Anvil really outdid herself with this one, and your reaction shows it!

I absolutely loved Martyn’s reaction to the flashback scene with him and Ren. I love how genuinely excited it made him

I love the shot of Impulse with the rest of T.I.E.S. and then they go and it's Impulse backing up, it's so good

7:30 I just found out it was neighbour. I watched Scott’s perspective on the finale and after he gets killed, you can see his ghost pov and Martyn says “It doesn’t matter if you’re a mean gill or a bad boy or part of the clockers” whereas the line that got edited into Martyn’s video was “It doesn’t matter if you’re a mean gill or a bad boy or a neighbour or a clocker” which is quite different but it still has the original intent.

Honestly I like that Martyn mentioned every other team except the one Impulse was on, it makes sense to me because he is talking to him.

And it almost sounds like Martyn is saying that it doesn't matter if Impulse was any other team. It wouldn't have stopped his imminent demise. Basically saying Impulse's choices up this point didn't matter, which is BRUTAL.

my fav part is how when scott kills pearl it showed double life where Scott killed himself for pearl it’s so crazy how it mirrored from that season

i love the fact that they were able to get Ren into the song even though he wasn't in the series.

and if i remember correctly, both impulse and scott did "wrong" you in third life, so ren coming in and going "hey yeah, now we get our vengeance."

04:47 so they did recreate the world

8:45 the detail of the flag from third life popping up was so cool

Im still surprised that u and jimmy both missed the flashback to double life w pearl and scot when he was chasing her lol

pretty close to 0:19, the text changed from "lyrics from Limited Life SMP" to "most lyrics from Limited Life SMP" :D I hadn't caught that before!
