BTS is already global.  They are currently the biggest band in the world.  They are also the most awarded musical artists in the history of the world.  They largely write and produce their own music and are famous for the depth and complexity of their multilingual lyricism, their storytelling, their choreography, their MVs, and their production, as well as the depth and quality of their characters as people and the strength of their bond with their fanbase (ARMY) and with one another.

They have a 12 year career, spanning 21+ group albums and 16 solo albums among the members so far.  All of them have solo careers as well, with solo albums and solo collabs, but they always still identify as part of BTS.  They are brothers in every sense and consider each other family.  They have collaborated with many big artists in the West like Snoop Dogg, Usher, Coldplay, Juice Wrld, J Cole, Megan Thee Stallion, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Wale, Justin Timberlake, Halsey, Charlie Puth, Jason Derulo, Anderson Paak, Bennie Blanco, and many more, including a posthumous collab with Bing Crosby.   Most of those, it was the Western artists that reached out and asked to collab with BTS, including the estate of Bing Crosby, who have never done a posthumous collab before.

BTS are legends in their own time.  No one in S Korea comes anywhere close to them in terms of artistry, legacy, number of awards or global reach.  They impact the GDP of S Korea.

Right now, BTS are coming back from the hiatus they took to serve their mandatory military service in S Korea starting back in 2022.  They were just all discharged from their service this past June and are now working on a new album and tour scheduled for next Spring.  It's already looking like it will be the biggest tour in the history of the world.

Late, however, never too late with BTS. Between their training days, debut and now they’ve been together for 15 years. Their discography is 500+ as a group and soloists. 3 rappers and 4 vocals. All members are songwriters and producers.

They signed up with a small and unknown company on the verge of bankruptcy and made it into the 4th largest music company in the world with the first three in the US. BTS opened the door for Kpop and the groups within Kpop to have global opportunities and be a part of cultural trends and conversations worldwide.

There are many reasons why you never heard of BTS or didn’t know it was their song when you heard it. It’s because BTS and their company never played the western music industry game of payola and BTS wouldn’t sign up with western music company. BTS doesn’t get radio play because they don’t pay the radio companies to play their songs. As you probably know radio stations only the playlists of songs that American music companies pay them through sponsorships. They tell them how many times they want certain songs to be played every day. There are many artists who were successful or dominate are because music companies decide who they want to be successful and not the most talented. It’s all the same with Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, etc. same goes for Billboard and award shows. The American music industry don’t make money off BTS so they do their best to sabotage their success in the US. They can’t accept that it hasn’t worked or how dedicated us armies are. We are the largest music fandom in the world and we don’t play when it comes to BTS. I am not a fan of Kpop or the western music artists other than artists before 2000. Finding BTS was one of the best things to happen in my life.

I’m 70 and have been a BTS fan (ARMY) for years. They’re amazing. I hope you react to more.

Part of why there's not more recent videos on the YouTube channel is that BTS had to go on hiatus to complete their mandatory military service. During that time they released a lot of solo stuff. They have all returned from the military now and have said they are currently working on an album! Their last album was an anthology called Proof released in 2022.

BTS is the biggest boyband in the world with incredible number of achievements and awards both for group songs and solo .  It isn't a typical k-pop group because it's beoynd k-pop and many of BTS fans aren't in k-pop at all. Their discography is huge and amazingly versatile. They are so unpredictable and never dissapoint.

V from BTS threw first pitch at the Dodgers game on Aug 25! My parents went lol ❤

Well to the rabbit hole 😊.  I am a 61 yr old and my daughter and granddaughter got me into BTS.  Proud member of Army 💜💜💜

Please say hi to your niece, just tell her an ARMY says BORAHAE (she will get the meaning)

a small warning though, before you get your hopes up about kpop: if you expect all kpop artists to be on bts' level you'll be very disappointed 😂most bts fans (know as ARMY) aren't even kpop fans beyond bts. but even if your bts journey stops here, i'm glad you enjoyed even just these few songs 💜borahae to your niece, and to you as well

You're a Dodgers fan? Did you see V do the first pitch at their match? 😊

They all do solo work. They actually all officially debuted as soloists during their group hiatus to complete their military service. They've been on group hiatus since 2022. They reunited in June when the last 5 finished and are working on their next group album which is scheduled for spring 2026! But they have been releasing solo music since 2 years after their debut already, especially the 3 rappers who released mixtapes

BANGTANTV is more for side content. Their MVs are uploaded on HYBE Lables for the most part

And you haven't scratched the surface of their artistry yet! BTS is more than K-pop, they're part of mainstream pop. They were named '19th Greatest Pop Star of the 21st Century' by Billboard and 'Best National Singer of the 21st Century' by Gallup Korea in 2024. BTS was the only Korean artist in the top 400 of the most stream songs on Apple Music and Dynamite is the 39th most streamed song ever on the platform. They're one of the biggest artist in the world and each of them has an extremely successful solo career

We do not need Chris Brown anywhere near BTS. Not only are they way out of his league but they are the most respectful, genuine, gracious human beings on the planet. Chris Brown does not belong anywhere near them.

BTS isn't just big in their country but globally. They've broken the Beetles and Michael Jackson's records. They debuted in 2013 and are still going. They just finished writing an album. They had to take a break due to South Korea's mandatory military service but they pulled a fast one on us dropping solo albums during that time. For a quick overview of the group I recommend watching a BTS guide for haters skeptics and non pop fans by Boracity Magazine. It's gives a short rundown of the group. Sorry my comment is so long

Usher did a feature on one of the groups solo works, Chris Brown probably won't get a collab with them because they're a very female conscious group and they really care about not working with problematic egotistical people. They learned the hard way doing the Savage Love remix when they trusted Derulo too...

HYBE labels is sort of an umbrella company for a ton of other labels, which is why there are so many artists. BTS is under BigHit Music which is one of HYBE's sub-labels. It is actually the first label. It used to just be BigHit Entertainment when BTS just started, and it was a very very small label. But BTS have been so globally successful that it has grown enormously, and eventually branched out and created HYBE.

BTS preformed Butter at the 64th Grammys (they have 5 grammy nominations) You have got to watch it they got a standing ovation.

BTS's lyrics are what make them different, their musical production is also on another level :)

Yes, all the BTS members make solo music, and thats all been that they've been releasing recently because they all served in the military over the past 2 years. Definetly continue diving in their group and solo music 🎶

0:50 They're the biggest group in the world rn so

News flash bts is global!
