A couple of fun facts:
1) Burton was broke af after his 2nd divorce from Liz & was willing to take on any work. Movies like this one & "The Medusa Touch" - which I liked when I saw it as a kid, but when I saw it again recently, to see how it held up, boy, it sure didn't, still, its better than Exorcist 2.
& 2) The autistic-like child that Regan gets to speak is a pre-"Diff'rent Strokes" Dana Plato...
So I'm curious. Was the loss of points because Reagan told the girl she was possessed by a demon? Or was it because of her reassurance, 'he's gone now.' Or was there something else?
When the meter moves, especially when reviewing a film that is very subtle, even confusing at times.
I feel it would be helpful to explain each peak and valley, at least a little.
Cheers.
