She managed to mess up each kid in a different way

You have to make a video about Yolanda Hadid please, as a comparison. People compare them a lot.

In my opinion, one of the biggest tragedies is how the other sisters have altered their own physical appearances to more resemble Kim’s image. Kim was the child Kris marketed first leaving the others to feel inadequate and need to compete. This way they had a better shot of gaining their mom’s fleeting approval/validation but also the world’s.

Khloe is rising in favoritism because Kris is grooming her to be her caretaker in her elderly years. She built her house next door for a reason.

This is likely why Kourtney, as the oldest sibling who felt the effects of early emotional neglect, gravitates so strongly toward attachment parenting with her own kids. It’s as if she’s nurturing her inner child by being the kind of mother she needed growing up.

I always remember Khloé retelling the time she had to make sure her siblings were ready for school and had to to drive them with her drunk mom in the passenger seat...whilst Khlo was 15 or something. Wild.

Feel really sorry for Rob. He seemed the most lost without his father.

I'm a behavior therapist, and I truly enjoy watching your psychological deep dives on celebrities. Glad you are in this platform and get to enjoy your content. Keep up the awesome job you are doing. I noticed their "fans" get so triggered when anyone points out how dysfunctional this family is...the "fans have become an extended part of the family tree, which fights to keep up the façade of the "perfect and successful family".

I think it’s pretty telling that Kylie Jenner said that if her daughter ever wanted to get plastic surgery young she would be heartbroken. I think she wishes her mom would’ve stepped in and not encouraged the plastic surgery.

I always found it odd how kris referred to her mom as MJ instead of mom.

My personal opinion - Kourt - black sheep, Rob - black sheep, Kendall - lost child, Kylie/Kim - Golden child, Khloe - the performer

Khloe raising Kylie makes sense now bc Kylie seems so sweet compared to the rest.

Nobody talks about how molestation or being exposed to that type of sexual stuff as a child messes you up. What you think is acceptable and not what should be private etc.

"You don't grow up. You learn to perform." Wow. That explains so much. Thankyou!

I have a distinct memory about Khloè jokingly talking about how Kris used to ‘beat the shit outta them’ and Kylie always said she was terrified of her mom as a child… very telling

Kylie seems such a people pleaser.

As someone w a Narc mom, I recently was rewatching keeping up from the very beginning & was like wtf…. Kris is so narcissistic. I noticed all of this insane behavior but realized no one was really talking about it. You nailed it. Robert in the early episodes is talking about OCD, and how he had to drive by this one area over and over again to make sure he didn’t hit something (my ex did the same) there’s just sooo much you can see that’s damaging & the fact we can just watch it is WILD. Love this deep dive
. Khloe talks about her insane trauma she literally can’t even remember her CHILDHOOD! Like all the signs are there
