The Promise: Ángela disappears before her wedding to Lorenzo, while Martina discovers a detail in the letter intended for Curro. A sentence added after the signature will turn a love message into a dangerous trap. Will Manuel and Alonso be able to intervene before the captain drops all charges?
Hi everyone, I'm Diego! In the next installment of the film series, The Promise, the wedding preparations conceal a plot to separate Curro and Ángela and pin the young man's guilt on him.
Martina will be the first to notice that something isn't right. Ángela's room is empty, her wedding dress is still there, and no one seems to know where she's gone. When the letter reaches Curro, a suspicious line indicates a meeting in a secluded house and asks him to show up alone.
Curro will face a difficult choice: ignoring the message could mean abandoning Ángela, but following it without precautions could expose him to those who want to frame him. Manuel decides to accompany him, while Martina searches for information about the carriage that left the palace.
A locked door, a key, and the driver's testimony will begin to call Lorenzo's version into question. The captain, however, won't easily relinquish control: he will try to discredit Ángela, accuse Curro, and gain Leocadia's support.
Faced with Alonso's questions, every answer will matter. Martina will have to explain what she saw, Manuel will defend the letter, and Ángela will have to find the courage to tell what happened without letting anyone speak for her.
Why did Lorenzo know the time of the rendezvous? Did the two men he's bringing with him actually witness something? And will Leocadia protect the captain or answer her daughter's question?
Watch to the end to find out how the details of the trap will connect and what the consequences of the confrontation will be on the wedding day. A final warning from Lorenzo will also leave a disturbing question unanswered about Leocadia.
💬 In your opinion, which element puts Lorenzo in the most difficulty: the altered letter, the key, or Angela's testimony? Share your thoughts in the comments!
