It is really difficult to carry these huge egos all the way to the top of Everest.

It's still amazes me that humans can be smart enough to become a doctor but still not have one ounce of common  sense in their brain

I get the feeling that Everest attracts a lot of people like this.

She didn’t  die from faulty equipment she died from Arrogance and stupidity

Spending all that money - and then dying because of being stingy about $280 must be one of the dumbest ways to go...

I only feel sorry for the
Sherpas.  Dealing with rich privilege has to be a skill NOT to just throw them off a cliff.  😂😂

Ego is the most dangerous thing to take along on a difficult endeavor like this.

I feel sorry for the Sherpas expending huge effort and compromising their own safety, to save these egotistical idiots from their own decisions and actions with no thanks along the way.

Long before these Karens died on Everest, they thought the world revolved around them.

Surgeons are notorious for being insanely egotistical. 😬

Death by ego should be a recognized medical term. It's the Dunning-Kruger effect, over and over and over again.

Zero sympathy for any of them. Only concern is for the others that may be impacted by these people's selfishness.

I would simply listen to the leaders and sherpa's and do as i was told.
If not fit enough back i go.

No one named Baxter died on Everest in 2015. In fact none summitted that year as the 25 April earthquake stopped any further climbing and no one had summitted at that point

The first time someone refuses to do as told the trip should be over. The sherpas shouldn't be endangered due to someone's blatant stupidity. They should forfeit the entire amount they paid and be banned from the mountain.

Based on a thorough search of official mountaineering records and databases of Mount Everest fatalities, the individuals named in the video—Dr. Bonnie Baxter, Jolene Harwood, Felicia Holt, Claudia Beverly, and Rosyn Fletcher—do not appear in any documented lists of climbers who have died on the mountain.

The Sherpas should be treated with ultimate respect and deference. They are masters of the most hostile environment on Earth. Wise climbers will treat them as such. Foolish ones will ignore them and perish.

I love how these amateurs know everything better than the experienced climbers.

I'm wondering if Beverley saw the grim reaper and tried arguing that her 'premium package' included guaranteed survival.

Too bad most of these people had such severe oxygen deprivation that the ‘A-Ha’ moment most likely never occurred. Ego and attitude intact until death
