I love the implication that Leon’s Gigantimax Charizard was the Charmander that he got from Mustard, leaving only Bulbasaur and Squirtle for you

Can I point out how both Peony and his faraway daughter were caught in a mind control plot from a Pokemon in the second half of a DLC?

What battling Klara taught me is that there need to be more story battles where you have to play around your opponent blatantly cheating

Swording my shield rn

Klara? Your wife? I thought she was my wife. Hang on. If my wife is Klara, and your wife is Klara.... who's wifeing the plane?

I didn't know until the beginning of this video that Calyrex spoke to the player (I haven't played these games), but it's 100% more charming knowing that they refer to you as "human child".

Me knowing somewhere he’s gonna thirst over Klara

12:50 honestly it really is bizarre how they had such an easy setup to explain having a bunch of trainers hanging around each route yet chose to still make them random normal citizens instead

slight correction: Necrozma is just added to the pool of Dynamax Adventures encounters the moment "They Came From The Ultra Beyond!" starts, which means the official Ultra Beasts are completely optional.

Something you missed in this video, which I fully understand since you played these games after we got Gen 9 and thus the multiplayer fell off, is that there's a Spiritomb encounter.

There's a gravestone that you talk to near the tree where you first meet the Galarian birds, that simply says "spread my voice". Then you connect online and...talk to 32 other players. I get why they didn't make it 108 because that'd be too tedious, but it feels weird. Then you talk to the tombstone again, where it now reads "my voice has been heard". Then you fly out of the area and come back so that Spiritomb can spawn in.

One of the biggest things I'm disappointed about is the fact that they didn't make a legendary Pokémon based on Nessie (The Loch Ness Monster), which is arguably Scotland's biggest tourist attraction.

I can't thank you enough for being one of the few youtubers that actually likes Hop and doesn't just treat him as "very annoying rival", my boy deserves the love, great video though

the other funny thing about the bike is that the npc will fully upgrade its speed boost recharge for free once you have the water bike while in base swsh you have to do the rotom rallys

So on the birds, you're supposed to whistle to attract Moltres' attention and make it attack you. This would make sense since otherwise it'd be another chase mission. And as for Zapdos, although yes you can catch up early, it slowly runs out of energy and slows down as you chase it, and the intended way is to tire it out.

44:00 “I’d rather say hi to the townsfolk!”

…..

“How did you get this?”

If I had a nickel every time a member of Peony's family was mind controlled by a Pokemon during a DLC released in a Pokemon game I would have two nickels, which isn't much but it's weird that it happened twice

The editing style steevie has is so fast paced and I Love it. It holds up greatly in long videos despite the style most likely being created for shorts.
