I get Kim sooo muchhh because when I first told my mom that I was bisexual, she told me that it was just a phase and I will get over it soon, I was so disappointed that she didn’t understand me😢
In Jamaica when I was 9 I started liking girls and experimenting but in Jamaica they hated gay people so I was scared so when I came to America and when to school I realized it was normalized way more than in Jamaica so one day my mom was doing something me and her was laughing and I randomly said I’m bisexual she said what then she said call my grandma and tell her what you said I told her but they were very supportive but I still didn’t tell my dad because he is homophobia and he called some random gay person a fag** and I was really scared but I’m giving him hints I am and I been dancing in pride shows and I been telling him I’m in a pride show so when I do tell him I hope he accepts me
I tried coming out to my mom, it didn’t go so well, she ended up crying, crying to my dad, telling me I could go to hell. And for that I date girls, but I never tell her, I talk to my mom about everything, but that’s something I will never tell her again, I don’t trust her enough to tell her I’m gay, NEVER AGAINN.
I came out to my mom when I was 10. It was stupid of me at the time but I am glad every day I did it so early on. I don’t think I would be able to right now. She sent me to therapists, psychiatrists, got my hormones checked, signed me up to a religious summer camp etc. It’s been over a decade and fuck supporting me, she’s only now started to come to terms with it.
I love my mama dearly, she gave me her blessing to live my life however makes me happy when I became an adult and I think that’s all she can do for me for now. I don’t need her support but her blessing does make me feel much better. I’ve had to accept that it’s not as black and white as acceptance or hatred when it came to my mom.
My father always knew. We don’t talk about it and we’ve never talked about it. He knows what I am and I know that he knows. I think he knew even before I did.
My sisters could not give less fucks. One of my sisters is bi and she was the very first person I came out to and my biggest supporter.
I’m so glad I made so many stupid decisions as a kid that I don’t have to come out to everyone now when I can fully comprehend the risks.
I love yall vlogs, my daughter came out and told me an her dad that she liked girls when she was in middle school and we were fine with it, we supports our daughter 💯 percent
I 💕 the msg Ramiere/Kim gave at the end! Speak ur truth & live in it. 💯 Who u choose/prefer should not alienate you from the love ❤️ of your parents (they still 💕 deep down, they just don’t 💗 the decision). While parents may not agree with it, support your child (not the decision itself). It’s their life to live at the end of the day & your parents can’t live it for you! I pray ☮️ for anyone going through this. 💪🏽🙏🏾
My wife and I had similar stories to Kim where our moms weren't accepting of us being gay and 5 years into our marriage they aren't accepting it and it hasn't stopped us.
