Filmed on Saturday, September 5 2026, I drive around Elkhart, IL to see what's going on.

Elkhart takes it's name from Elkhart Grove, which was an area of woodland with a shape resembling the heart of an elk.

Abraham Lincoln frequently spent the night at Elkhart Grove when traveling the 8th Judicial Circuit.

As of the 2020 census, the population of Elkhart was 450.
