On my third and final day in Beijing I went to Feng Yuan Han’s Table Tennis Club. It’s an impressive club which boasts 2400 players and over 60 high level coaches. Feng Yuan Han was a 2013-2015 Chinese National Team penhold player himself, and his second coach in command is my good old friend Wu Jun Han - a former Liaoning Province Team player.

I hadn’t seen Jun Han in 8 years since we used to live and practice together in New Jersey, and he actually changed his plans from being elsewhere to come back early so we could meet, which was super nice.

We had lunch before spending the day at the club, and I invited Xu Haidong to come and eat with us. He graciously joined, although had to leave quickly after to get back to his afternoon training.

We played practice matches and then a team style game with the kids at the club, had a great time!
