Clear the bad part and then from opposing sides hammer in two wedges, or multiples thereof, with epoxy paste.  Allow to harden and then trim off the waste hammering surfaces.

Without a doubt this will be the coolest home built boat on the ocean.

Just join all your offcuts together to make great use of waste, looking good .

If you want you can use epoxy with the powder to thicken up and fill the gap. If the gap is larger take wood shims to fit in the gap and add epoxy to it and insert. That will give a solid structure. There's no need to rip apart. When Ran sail planked his boat, he glued the planks together before putting on the boat. You could try that might help speed up the planking party with your friends.

I think the construction seems to have more than enough strength. If you can fill the gaps with epoxy, you can be happy. Probably the most important thing here is to protect the wood from water and moisture.

hello pano, while it is impossible to tell what is the best solution without a detailed video of the gaps and where they are and how well the epoxy bonded . So i can only give a guess. I think since your boat is like one giant glulam in boat shape, the structure will be more than strong enough to never have problems with it. Only fill up the gaps so no moisture can get trapped in them. If you don 't feel secure fasten blocks on the inside where the wood was not thouching and epoxy them too. If the gaps are big, put in some wood first. But this is just a guess, i have not really seen the mistake.
Sometimes, even when the epoxy seems quite cured, it is still not fully cured and the pieces will have still "welded" together with time. I think cutting everything out and redoing it is so much extra complication, each complication is a new chance for a mistake to introduce itself.

You need to order a few "jobber length" American 11/64" drill bits to have the best hole size for the vertical chopsticks. That or a #19 wire gauge size diameter that is nearest perfect size.
