We need a Spartacus revolt game. Where it starts with you overthrowing the ludus and start freeing other prisoners and growing the army to defeat roman legions. That would be so awesome.

Seems like a cool game but the art is rather suspicious if ykyk

Yooo baron my childhood

This game is quite similar to the mobile game "Gladiator Manager"

It's pretty good

For the time i waited for a game domina like

i have 2 good gladiator games, gladihoppers, where you play as a gladiator and upgrade ur stuff, and blades of deceron by the same devs, and it has a sort of gladiator gameplay,

Most epic intro? Try swords and sandals.

the net throw is at 50% hp and happens once, but the retiarius seems to spend the most time killing the opponent so it's good for the duo games, as they help the others after. and the 2v1 seems to be just a gallop for the 2 guys. so the second guy should be a retiarius usually, even if it's weaker just stalls enough. the net skills still only seem to hit once, maybe with 2 skill and a better net is 2 hits. I never even saw that 20% chance to hit for 40. maybe it's bugged. that's 1 in 5 and I had way more hits.

the demo is pretty limited. the mocking adds a morale but you get more bad events, which can be dodged usually. the fights are pretty much the same order, you can't lose the first 2-3, as you got a better weapon. the fourth fight he has way better gear but your skills can be equal or higher, you can still lose and get your guy killed which is a shame as 3 victories earns more for exhibition or noble villa.

for the skills there is some difference, I think the charismatic is better for retiarius, then the hardened is good to not pick up injuries for fatigue. fast learner is pretty good to gain skills, but gotta combo with the morale effect of higher training speed, palus and the doctore. the morale has two good effects, the train speed is good but then stoic has one extra morale and reward gives only 3, so you need something else too. the bad effect can be refusal to train or fight, which is fine, stealing is not but then yo ucan just reward them before that happens for thiefs and after if they refuse training or fight but it might pop up for the whipping that adds like 4 fatigue.

the exhibition games are giving gold but increase a bit of fatigue, that extra morale is a must if they have extra morale slot from stoic. the best eco start seems to be buying a slave then the procurator and reward for morale and send him in the mines (loses morale) then construction. then technically you could get 5 extra gold for each win if you send your first fighter for the noble villa. buying on 30 gold a fast learner, then doing the jobs, training up like 3 skills then selling him generally good gold, you get a few extra for each skill and pushing morale up and fatigue down is extra expense. also you can sell the last guy at the end. but you have to do all 3 procurator tasks and the noble villa is like 4 days and needs someone with a few wins to make it worth and reset the mine quest. reaching the 7 wins is great, and losing in the demo or selling them you cannot really win the last fight. but you do not need any equipment for the first 2 fights and you need some luck on the 3rd and 4th or like 2 skills or 2 equipment.

two days you can be in minus, and you can equip the worst version of the items then use the better ones on someone else or sell it to gain back gold. so you would need two of the same type of gladiators to do some of that, you get back the items if they die or you sell them so that's generally a better deal. also if you go with the lady, you get offers from the dwarf guy (need praise to get better ones). that resets wins and skills so not a good deal unless he bids for your newest slave after you trained 3-4 skills while others are inside the buildings.

In the fight you get some randomness with the crowd, also timing, like you can hit them before they hit you or they receive a heal, and skills can dodge stuff. probably 2-3 extra hits maybe. it still really depends on the weapon mostly. other gear can reduce it but it's very expensive for what it does.  on the same skill and same hp the main difference is just the weapon. over 2 skills maybe it matters.

the balancing feels weird with the timers, like they rest very slowly (one skill adds faster fatigue removal but why would you not send him in the building) and having a third gladiator eats 1 gold extra daily. you got lucky there without using any reward for morale :) I lost so many times thinking that I could win and I managed every aspect. I guess I underestimated how much I splurge on everything else than gear.

you missed the actions tab with rewards and sell. also the right click can inspect them or take them out of buildings before time.

I liked the concerning Japan series
