You virtual reality legend.. clear concise and informative. I think I'll wait til the steam frame gets established and there's a pre-owned one knocking about

I've watched a lot of videos on the Steam Frame, and you are the only one that caught my experience with the UI Bugs. The process of quitting out and coming back needs to be smoothed out. I've had plenty of moments where I quit out to change games and had to quit out of SteamVR app and disconnect and reconnect again and log back into Steam VR on my PC to get it working again. A minor but regular annoyance.

i didn’t even realize how the steam frame controllers make it way more easier to play vr modded flatscreen games, if you play a game with a steam controller or something, and play it in vr, you’ll already have ur controller configuration ready to use

Man your videos are so well done, so informative and engaging. You’re an incredible communicator. Thanks for making such great stuff.

YES! Finally someone mentions the night vision in a passthrough in a positive light.

Great review, thank you.

Love how valve are constantly updating th software and firmware of the steam frame in short notace and addresses these issues .

This is one of the best, most balanced and honest Frame reviews so far.  Thank you!  Definitely going to sub to your channel.

Instant subscribe! You're the first person I've felt has given a genuinely unbiased but still grounded and honest perspective on the frame. THANK YOU!

I 100% agree that most people aren't seeing the frame's potential. But I think that's par for the course with any new technology because you just don't know what you don't know.

I'm very much looking forward to the awesome features the open source modding community will create! We're in for a completely new experience! 🤩

GREAT review. You're good at this.

This was a great take on the Steam frame. Thank you!

Great honest review ❤

this was an awesome review. including all of the UI bugs, seeing features that most people havent covered yet and the passthrough in dark rooms. i am pretty sure valve will fix any of the UI issues since they have usually done something like that in the past. but i really liked this review, i am a new sub

Stellar video, thank you for your outstanding work!

Great review.  Also, your lighting and camera quality is excellent.  Nice work, my guy.

I'm just glad to finally have my hands on one and see how it evolves in real time.

Awww dang. Just when I thought I was set on not buying the Frame (assuming I'll one day get an e-mail to do so) but this video is the only I watch that made me inspired to get it. Unrelated, first time running into your content and I enjoyed every second of it. Great video!

As usual, comparison is clouding what it is: more potential , more comfort and more possibilities. Spot on

Perfect, this guy gets it!

You're a VERY good reviewer, subscribed !!

Really good and helpful video, I think that was a very fair review.  I'm in the purchase queue and plan to buy it as soon as they have one for me.  I honestly went back and forth a bit between this and the Pimax Dream Air SI, but ultimately I ruled it out for 2 reasons:

1. It can't fully replace my Quest 3.  Since I have no interest in wired PCVR for regular VR games, the Dream Air would be a sim only headset.  I'll get more use out of the Frame since I'll be using it for everything, and I expect once Virtual Desktop is available for it the visuals will be as good or better than Quest 3.

2.  It's Pimax.

Number 2 was really the big one, I just do not trust that company enough to hand over $1000+ of my money to them.

Anyway, I agree with you.  I'm getting the Frame not so much for what it is as for what it can be.  I think in the near future we'll see a lot of bug fixes / improvements from Valve and Virtual Desktop from Guy Godin.  Further down the road we'll probably see some really cool add-ons, and hopefully devs will get on board and port their games to it.
