What was remarkable about the Bangladesh Australia game was that Australia were never really in it. Bangladesh won every single session.
The only positive thing for Australia in that game is that Cam Green has probably saved his place in the team for a few more games.

Australian Cricket Board should give free popcorn, blockbuster movie 23 years later🏏

I love how everyone's forgot that McSweeney negotiated a prime Bumrah in the day night test. He's clearly got the test match attitude. That's what openers are supposed to do, right?

I really hope the World Cup super league comes back. The lead up to the 2023 World Cup was genuinely interesting, certainly enough to warrant running it for a bit longer. The one thing I'd like to see changed is to have Australia's tour to India, Australia's tour to England and the World Cup moved out of the same year. Whoever thought that was a good idea…

The concerning thing for me was that the Australians seem to be load managing their bowlers already instead of bowling the bowlers who needed to bowl to win the game. I think Lyon came on in the 8th over of the second new ball when we needed Cummins Starc or Hazlewood to make breakthroughs. I think the noise of their potential 21 test run has already seemingly affected their ability to do what's right in the moment

Australia hadn't played as a team for six months. Of course they needed to warm up.

Bangladesh 🇧🇩….Bangladesh 🇧🇩…Bangladesh 🇧🇩…Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Australia was poor by it's players standards.
Five dropped catches is a testament to that.

One word YOUTH where is it 3 players to keep Carey, green, head, the rest gone

@unravel8113 1 month ago

Factually wrong around 9 min mark
India hosted them before the nz series loss recently and thrashed them 2-0 before getting thrashed by nz 3-0

As an England fan the whole Labuschagne debate is difficult. Obviously he has been bad recently but would we rather face him with his experience of English conditions and his historic highs or let the Aussies roll the dice with another no.3? I'd take that roll. If Weatherald was the best you've got coming through I think the English bowlers will be licking their lips at facing someone new - Labuschagne will always carry more fear. Also, his duracell bunny fielding has to give him another edge over a "generic" cover fielder. Especially when things were tough against Bangladesh he was the only one noticably racing around and geeing people up.

all the talk about dropping weatherald, i think it is a bit unfair to be honest. 12 innings u wanna axe him, give him a few more tests. The team gave cam green 30 tests, Marnus has been dreadful for a few years, i think they need to cut him some slack. Personally i would prefer they play one of the young bats Kellaway, McSweeney, Peake even Konstas, and just ride with them for 20 tests. Bowling they def need to try some of the young ones. Give the aging quicks a break, while mentoring the young ones.

Australia would be better off leaving out players like Head. If it's a well rounded attack, they won't be able to score freely.

@Johnpup 1 month ago

New Zealand had 5 wins @ 2023 World Cup Geoff. Beg your pardon.

@merrillconn8863 1 month ago

Sorry jeff if we keep players to there near 40s what young players will want to keep playing if they have no hope of playing test cricket u till there mid 30s this team have had there day they have been great pat cummins has been a exellent captain. Jeff sorry you just mentioned all the young guys that need to play tests or they will be lost to 20/20 how do we know if they can play test cricket if they don't get a go

Also a cool reminder that Zimbabwe whipped this Bangladesh side by an innings just a month ago

Australian cricket team take charter airplane and take 4 hours to go to Mackay and Australian cricket board send Bangladesh team on local 2/3 flights to go to Mackay which takes 14 hours and keep them waiting 2 hours for their luggages and most of those luggage were lost !!!

This is How pathetic host Australia is. Most disgusting pathetic host who demands presidential service when they tour and gives this kind of pathetic hospitality to visitors.
Shame on you Australia.
