“I can’t overstate the value of small daily studies. They allow you to fail quickly, learn constantly and capture a fleeting moment of light before it changes.” Just when I wasn’t expecting a lesson…there it is.

Incredible work, and wonderful video, Christina. I know motherhood is upon you, and you are a full time working artist, but would love it if in the future you would do some further courses, specifically in the painting process itself. Your work is magnificent, would love to learn from you someday. Congratulations if the little one has arrived!! 🌺

I really came to say how much I enjoy these insights into your residencies. It's such a raw, informative, and fascinating look into something that many of us will never experience.

But, I have to take a moment to say that these new paintings are just so incredible. I already loved your work but there is no doubt that these are next level and your risks are totally paying off big time here. So amazing! I really need to take your sketchbook course.

Love your art , and love the way you build your videos too ! As an self taught artist in the journey you have been helping me a lot to get out of my head and just keep painting. I actually live in SF too , hope we can meet one day ❤️

That’s a dream! A shared studio environment I mean. I always dream of having other artist I could paint with and learn from. I am in ct and one day I will look for a mentor. I’m not sure where to start. It’s very lonely here where I am, I have to resort to strangers online. 😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Paesaggi davvero fantastici.

I love how the NY art scene is so much different than the San Fran art scene. Then the Savana art scene. If I were to choose a residency, it would be Savana. Except it's very hot and humid. Late fall would be great! Your'e one of my fav city scape artists. Your muted colors bring such a vibe.

I always love your videos. The music, your voice, the images you show us, and of course your painting. I noticed something: and I have to ask: do you no longer look at reference photos while painting? Or do you just go with the value structure you have established on the under-painting and follow that with color? Thank you so much for taking us along with you on your residencies! They are my most favorite of all your videos.

🤔I think that if I go to art museums, or just experience more art around me, it will help me pursue my artistic goals that I desire to achieve with charcoal and soft pastels.
Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful landscape in the area you visited. I adored all of your work but was really drawn to the "Flour And Water" painting. It would look great in someone's kitchen.
