"Twisted Transistor" is extremely groovy, man. The hooks, the beat. Lyrically, the song hit me in the personal feels when I was younger.

Korn saved my life on several occasions. The fact that someone else felt so dark and wasn't scared to voice it, soothed my wounded soul. I actually cried when I saw them live for the first time.

The stress on mental health etc... was Gen X finding their voice and stating how pissed we were about a great many things.

This was a special moment in time, and Nü Metal connected with a lot of us during that era. Most of Nü Metal's biggest hits are timeless classics ❤️‍🔥

Korn, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Linkin Park, Sevendust, Trapt, Union Underground, Disturbed, Slipknot, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, etc etc .... Almost every big band in the metal and metal sub genres had a handful of songs about mental health or being mentally strong even when we feel like we are about to lose it entirely.

Some artists like Cory Taylor from Slipknot even started other bands so that they could make less instrumentally heavy songs with even more emphasis on mental health.

Seen them in concert twice and when he comes out playing the bag pipes for shoots and ladders the crowd went wild

They did a song called Shoots and Ladders i think you would really enjoy. I love them seen them 6x, cant wait to take my 18 year old daughter this year!

KORN just doesn't have a bad song! Jonathan Davis is just phenomenal! Genius!!!!!!

Yes the mid to late 90s through the 2000's was a huge mental health phase represented in our music.
Tyler Durden said it best in Fight Club -
"We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war… our Great Depression is our lives."

"Here to Stay" is my favorite song of theirs from around this time. It goes very hard and the bass destroyed the speakers in my truck. 😅
You also need to listen to their cover of "Word Up"! It's amazing! Very faithful to the original but still very Korn.

Bro you’ve just scratched the surface of Korn,  their catalog is thick with bangers. Four of my favorites are:
Here to stay
Bottled up inside
Thoughtless
Alone I break.

When I'm having a really bad day, this is my go-to cathartic song.

💖 KoRn 💖 How am I just seeing this reaction now 🤷🏻‍♀️ better late then never
They inspired so many people it's crazy

I was a Navy bomb tech "EOD" in Iraq in 2005. Our base got hit by 3 rockets. The commanders figured out where it was coming from and sent us out. This song was playing randomly in my playlist. We blasted this on the way in our truck. Game time boyz. It was a wild day I'll never forget.

One of THE BEST live bands I've seen, KORN never disappoints!

"Yall Want a Single" Korn Next up!

Coming Undone was my first song, and my brother shared it with me back in the day. Still my top loved song from Korn.

They did a remix of this song with Dem Franchise Boys called Coming Undone Wit It and it's 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yes more KoRn!!!🎉🎉🎉💜💜💜

You neeeed to do the another brick in the wall part 1 2 3 that was at the end of the video!! They’re cover of Pink Floyd’s song!
