You work in a nursing home, hear a loud bang and your first thought is to run? Poor Mable in 206 obviously fell and is in need of assistance!

As someone who regretfully got a walking balloon for his kid, they're creepy af without any ghosts involved. They're designed to move with the slightest of pressure change. So you decide to crack a window? That creepy thing will practically sprint across the house. The number of times I got jump scared by that stupid thing sneaking up behind me while at the computer...

those clips of the abandoned hospital were definitely just an Indonesian skit probably making fun of paranormal investigator, they were even making jokes when seeing that dude pushing the bed saying "ini bukan jam kerja mas" basically saying "sir this is not working hours sir" just some +62 humor.

If you think that first video is scary, imagine coming inside the house late at night and, since you've changed the air pressure from opening the door, having one of those RUSHING at you from a dark hallway. Happened with a Garfield balloon once, damn near gave me a heart attack 😂

My sister woke us up screaming one night when we were kids because her spongebob balloon was zooming around her bedroom. From her perspective up on her bed spongebob was possessed, however from our perspective we could see her tiny little chihuahua puppy had found a really fun new toy. He had it by the string and was dashing around the room.

My favorite genre of ghost video is: "Dumb people being afraid of something doing something entirely normal"

As someone that works at a Nursing Home, I need to say that in retirement and nursing homes when you hear a bang you always move TOWARDS the noise. Not away. Falls are a huge problem and need to be given care instantly, so thats the first thing we always think about it. Not ghosts.

Fun Fact: The Elmo going up the stairs video was debunked after the family accidentally uploaded a video with audible noise in reverse. Meaning a lot of the Elmo videos were shot in reverse then the audio added after. On top of that, there are a few videos where you can see other deflated Elmos in the background as well as the air pump they use to fill them, lmao.

Hey @JohnWolfe , Indonesian here. Just wanna say that in the fifth clip, the one in a "vietnamese hospital" has guys speaking Indonesian and Javanese (though includes some swearing we locals may recognize), meaning that there is a chance that it's either the hospital in question isn't in Vietnam, or these guys just happen to be tourists making footage to fool most of other fellow Indonesians who believe in some mystical bs like this. Also means that both Slappedham and Top9 are most likely, if not guaranteed, making misleading information to fool the whole world in general.

The scariest thing about the Elmo video is the fake dog by the door. At first I thought, "Why isn't it reacting?"

Sorry the absurdity of working in a retirement home and hearing a noise and running away screaming all scared is so funny

"I have a haunted balloon in my house. Instead of popping it and sending the demon back to hell, I am going to films tiktoks about for weeks"

Cat litter is not a powder. It's granules, essentially little jagged pebbles. It would not adhere to a foot and leave a trail of detailed cartoon prints. Only a powder would do that: flour, talc, dust, etc. The prints, exactly as John explained, are very obviously a poorly rendered special effect. It's disheartening to know that the people who made the clip and so many of the people who watched it are too ignorant to know that cat litter doesn't and can't do that.

The most disturbing thing I saw was someone trying to clean up cat litter on carpet with a broom. GET A VACUUM

Every time they say something was analized by experts I scream at my phone SHOW ME THE ANALYSIS, GIVE ME NAMES

I love when these horror channels say "the photo/video was analyzed by experts" because all I can imagine in my head is a bunch of bald dudes in glasses huddled around a singular polaroid on a table and going "mhmm........ that's definitely a photo" while they scratch their chins.

The immediate red flag for me with the retirement home video is that the "accidental spill" looks far less like an actual cat litter spill and more like "uhh let's be careful with how much mess we make for the fun skit we're filming that we will then have to clean up afterwards" lol

"The son refuses to throw away the Elmo balloon" cuts to the most uninterested kid on his tablet

They call them an “elaborate hoax” instead of just a hoax because they want to make it sound more complicated and therefore apparently less likely than being a ghost.
