Feathers can look intimidating at first - there are so many shapes, textures, and layers to consider. But once you understand the process, they’re much easier than they seem!
In this tutorial, I’ll take you through my method for drawing realistic feathers with colored pencils. Using a rooster as our subject, we’ll explore a range of feather types: soft and fluffy, smooth and slick, and larger structured feathers.
