I started giggling when you called Sua Mizi's friend

Explaining what’s happening! Mizi (the pink haired girl) and Sua (the black haired girl) are both auditioning for k-pop! Mizi really wants to do it but Sua doesn’t, as we can see they get rejected while in high school. But after they audition again but Sua sadly doesn’t get in. Sua doesn’t really care and is only doing it because Mizi wanted her to. Mizi goes on to live her “dreams” but the industry destroys her and sexualizes her. Mizi hates sexualization and being paired romantically with men since she’s a lesbian.  However she does it because she’s either on a contact or to stay relevant, we don’t know yet. Sua sees how Mizi is destroying herself and seeing Mizi smoke was the final straw. Mizi however most likely thinks she’s jealous or maybe she doesn’t want rumors to start (paparazzi). It may also be both. Mizi is clearly under much stress and slaps Sua, however we can see she immediately regrets it as she runs away with guilt in her eyes. Then we see a zombie chasing her which most likely infects her. Sua sneaks into the contaminated area hoping to find Mizi. Sua purposely gets infected so she can forever stay with Mizi. It’s important to note that Mizi was not continuous during this and is considered SA. It’s speculated that people take the zombies and use them like slaves. Mizi and Sua are used as zombie idols now, performing on a never ending stage. When someone loses they cut off one of their body’s part and sell them. Sadly even in death Mizi doesn’t escape her sexualization as we see she has a very short dress (also childlike, her hair is also childish with pigtails) and none of her body is touched. This is supposed to represent how toxic the k-pop industry. Because even after death their fans would still want them to perform. Also how sexualized idols are, with having to act cute or childish (aegyo) or  how they only focus on their looks.
