Clean getaways, dirty cops, hot diamonds, cold hard cash,  two-timing dames, only one way out, stand up guys, low down rats..  What's your angle sister?

i love film noir- my favourite genre, true mood.

thanks for filling my recommended with videos about film noir

double indemnity looks really good

FEDORAS   !!    just  to add  to  the one word list   at the  intro  !!

I love the dark shadows on Noir films.. I love the psychological  confusion, the craziness on the inner feelings of the characters..the strengh on the manipulations  of the WOMEN?? And how in a very slicky way they push the characters one by one and make them to do her sinister ways slowly...the heroin ,a female, plays the victim and the Hero always gets a twist of fate..the female is evil with a great sarcastic  cover up, sweet  and sexy but no one cant thrust her?? I love the intensity in this films..great! ..I enjoy it very much  ..Noir movies  are full of details  ..they force us to pay attention to the whole film..lovely the way they use Sexuality in noir movies...not wonder these films are so popular!!.. they make me think  and feel how screw  up our society is and how false life is in each period of our LIVES!!  And how we are so trapped in this  fake spider  wave!! Thank you

Who else is here getting warmed up for Matt Reeves Batman?

Way he said the Noir world was sounds like the real world LOL

somebody,anbody,please upload the whole documentary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first time i got a feel for film noir is from whos line is it anyways. and for some reason i got the humor through and through.

D.O.A. and Gun Crazy are a couple of real kickers that oughta get more lovin'.

I am your subscriber number 700 =)

10:30 I listen to the Bogard's voice only, and I could swear it was Dick Cavett speaking. The same dinamics and pauses.

Quite an interesting watch, thanks for the upload.

Where's the rest of it? He said it is an hour-long program.

Is this the only segment of the film? Sure would love to see the rest!

I doubt I'd ever get tired of punching Matthew Sweet.

One of the greatest tragedies of cinema is that Anton Lavey-possibly the most ardent fan of film noir to ever live, died before he could see Sin city. An outstanding neo-noir film!

very insightful piece!

When I heard of a man named Matthew Sweet being in this Documentary I thought it was the singer.
