CHOOSING THE RIGHT CLASS ► https://youtu.be/c66zD9cktAc
Thanks so much for watching today! What are some of your BEST TIPS FOR BEGINNERS?!

Thanks, this is exactly the type of beginner tips I'm looking for. No spoiler, not directive, just tips to dodge things that could be frustrating.

2 hours into the game. That “circuit” segment made me lightheaded

You had me at " please play the game however you want"

For my begginer tips (because hey, engagemet)
1. There are reasons why you would want to go back, abandoning your base as part of a quest means all your stuff becomes public property and you might want to get all your fuel cells and blood banks before someone steals them. - ergo postpone abandoning the base until you are sure there is nothing you want to get back. There is spice infuesed copper, Special Literjon blueprint that you might want to get back for, rifle and a handgun. If you get eaten and have to make those again you need imperial permits which you get by getting blueprint and researching it at the base. But you have to weigh those things with risk of getting eaten and losing everything on you including your bike when crossing back so it is risk/reward

Alternatively, you can fly an ornithopter between tradeports from which for 700 solari you can fly south and not risk the worm for a price.

2. One of the first things once you cross the gap (you will understand it when you get there) you might wanna do is change keybinds since fairly early on you get a torchlight built into your suit, not the one you need to equip (and cant recycle btw so glowsticks are useless item)  and it toggles with O, except if O opens guild menu it wont toggle on torchlight.

3. All equipment in your base has a permission tab - meaning you can absolutely leave an open door policy for your base and nobody can steal your stuff or use your equipment if you dont set it to public. So dont be afraid to leava a hole in a wall or drive through if you are one of the muppets that blocks entire width of a ditch. - Dont be that guy, and also dont be the guy that builds a base around the resource hogging it for yourself.

4. If you see warning that there is a storm coming in a minute - look for a cave or just a crevice, you can see you are safe after your top left above the hydration bar goes to sheltered or enclosed. Your vehicle also has this stat, so if you dont have a vehicle storage tool to hide vehicle, leave them in a sheltered spot to avoid them being damaged. This is where I would like to ask everyone to build a safe spot for people in their base, two walls and a roof usually is enough and you never know when your hole in a wall can save someone hours of time.

5. Vehicles with stuff in inventory cant be stored if you are gathering resources with inventory, plan accordingly.

6. Deconstructing/destroying base pieces refunds full resource cost right now, so its good to be aware of salvaged metal and granite around you or carry a little bit of granite and salvage metal on you so you can always build a shelter on the spot, even without the shields the walls can withstand one storm without crumbling, just dont build on open sand (when you can see the worm wiggle you are on open sands - Later on you will unlock a tent you can plop down that works the same way, but until then dont be afraid to be creative you can have 3 active bases at the same time and you likely will only use two when moving to new location.

6. A base is not a base until it has power then it gets shield and slaver ships roaming about at night wont bother you inside them afterwards - later on you will come to see these guys as meals on wheels as they bring blood right to your doorstep, but at the start they are  really dangerous, especially before you get a personal shield.

7. Enemies do have gear levels, but you are never safe even guys in the starting zone can fuck you up if you are not careful.
ProGamerTip: Enemies have rhythm to their attacks, when they reload or get tired or parried, you get an opening. Your personal shield automatically turns off when you fire a gun - if you are firing while they are firing, you can get hit.

These are all things I guess I wish I knew, some of them you learn on your own as you go.

I've probably said this before but you are an absolute legend and I do appreciate how considerate you are toward peoples time. How could I not want to spend all the times with your excellent videos though?

Thank shai halud you're making videos for this game. Have had to wade through long winded crap from other people. Then you show up. A blessed oasis, getting right to the point. All my water to you.

Amazing video, I just got the game and watched a few videos but man yours was the best. No spoilers, no unnecessary sound effects and just good tips and tricks.

thanks for a great guide with no spoilers. I'm like 1.5 hours in so cheers

I really like your approach to guiding new players rather than dumping a bunch of out of context info. Thank you!

Holy crap, this was a handy guide, very well done.  Lots of little stuff I had no clue about like the item icons, weight, and circuits!  Thanks, subbed!

1:18 you've eraned my respect and I will keep warching this video😁

This was the perfect beginner guide. I just want to get out there and explore the vast maps without thinking about the end game or pvp zones.

Very well produced and narrated.

This was super helpful.  On my first watch the info about storage containers that “pull from here and put things there” and the info about circuits made me want to pull my shirt over my head then yell “whoop whoop whoop!” while jumping up and down and hitting myself in the face with a frying pan but actually using the circuit system has sorted me out.  It is a great game imo with so many parts  of and systems from Conan that have been made smoother and improved upon, a beautiful game, but one or two things have been baffling.  Like I’m not using science to perfect my gardening or farming skills to get water but rather becoming a serial killer and drinking the blood of my victims while also drinking my own piss and sweat😅🤷

I’ve been watching this guy’s videos for a while now a little over a year he’s great!

LETS GO READY TO HAVE MY KNOWLEDGE UPFRONT

I subbed simply because of the intro, the time respect thing is major because it effects your views... but still i appreciate the full vid

I started with Bene without any knowledge of the game whatsoever. The sprint is something I now see as necessary; and with the grapple and a Leap Suspensor you can traverse anything quickly. I recently maxed my sprint and I am confident of being able to cross the desert without any worry of worms at all.

Thanks for this guide, probably the only one out here that doesn't spoil everything lol
