Its cool. Its not $90 cool but it will inspire someone to make an affordable version.

I thought this was going to be silly and hokey when I first clicked, but that device is actually very well thought out.

Nice to see a knowledge based tool. Just learning how to use everything will allow you to improvise in the future. Knowledge is your ultimate tool.

Amazing device to have on a EDC, for the first moment of reaction.

I really like your channel. You consistently review really interesting stuff that i wouldn’t otherwise know about. I like that your not just reviewing your typical backpacking gear all the time, but your also not one of those survivalist bushcrafters that thinks you need 20 pounds of knifes and fire starters just to go outside.

wow so much thinking put into this tool set 👍

The young part of me says "ooh a neat and potentially useful gadget" the old weathered pragmatist is thinking, "I would probably try to take the lid off and dump everything on the ground" That is the biggest issue with micro tools, my hands are larger than the average person's head and I have trouble using them. Laying down a kerchief would likely solve the losing them part for real, but actually using the tools...that is another story.

Хороший сувенир или подарок, чтобы привить интерес и начать путь в изучении мира вокруг ❤

Muy bonito vídeo!! Gracias!! Dios me lo bendiga abundantemente a usted y familia. Saludos desde Guatemala Centro América!!

This has just sent me down a rabbit hole on how to use a sextant in the Southern hemisphere. Significance of the Southern cross and 2 pointers finally make sense to me.
Bit pricey for my blood but definitely intrigues me. Consider me a subscriber.

Dude that thing is awesome!

I got this survival pendent about 2 weeks ago. I am happy with the product itself. However, I will like to add that this is not the only thing that you will carry. When it comes to survival, you have shelter, fire, water, signal, communication (part is signal) and food. Some might disagree with me on the order but in my experience and as someone that actually lived in the woods for 4 years, food is the least in my priority. Also, I mitigated navigation in general because to me, those that got lost is because of lack of understanding of their terrain, panic and disortation. Having a way to navigate when one is lost is not the smartest in my book. One should move only when everything else failed. This is why signal and communication are so vital for me before navigation. One should stay put and stop moving. Also, one will carry other equipment and know how to use those equipment. This pendant should be only when you had to discard everything else, which for a civilian is rare unless you are a criminal. One should already have a knife, headlamp, fire starter and means to aquire water with them in conjunction with that pendant. Again, that pendant is if you have to disregard everything else. Netherless, this is still a valued piece of equipment.

I'd rather have a button compass instead of the one it has using parts that can be lost

The pendant is cool but I never wear unbreakable cord around my neck! 😵

It needs to be paired with a breakaway cord so the wearer doesn't choke if it gets caught on something.

Wait! THE Doug Beaumont?

The main issue with it is the need to remove the gear to be able to use the whistle. One might find themselves in a situation where removing the gear is either not practical or advisable.

How about a plumb bob for construction, and night walking, simplicity locate a tree in distance,  line up plumb bob  with a star, start walking towards star. 😊

Gotta remember to open on tarp, with strong magnet, or you will lose parts😂

Great but over priced
