Id never go there, boycott the contaminated building.

We have lots of homeless they would be grateful for the opportunity to live there. I guess the “government” couldn’t possibly fund those people.

I hope people remember how these hotel owners turned their backs on the British people and sold us all out, if it opens up again as a hotel I hope people boycott it, the greedy bar stewards

Why can't we house our own homeless people in this level of comfort? 🤔😳

The scary thing is where have they all gone.....

Fancy putting them in a lovely place like that.Another hotel that will be forever tainted and boycotted.

In 2010 I got married in the hotel then stayed overnight in the bridal suite. I also dined there so many times, it was a lovely place, a family business run by a lovely, lovely family - so sad to see the opulence and beauty of the building going to waste 😢

That hotel is now probably going to be trashed as everyone on YouTube  knows it’s abandoned!

It makes me sick to see this. Our own homeless people are left to survive living on the streets by themselves, while this government treats these people to places like this.
Roll on the next general election !

Hi tokyo shame it couldnt be used for the homeless

very smart girl - do not get on a lift in an empty property.  If the lift fails, who will even know you are there.  It is difficult to get a signal inside a steel lift.

Leaving it like that probably means the owners have made so much money from the contract they are not bothered about the building now

It's very s our government care more for immigrants than our own people.

With the connections the owners have at the council I'm sure there will be no issues getting planning permission, for 200 houses.

Illegals not asylum seekers.

It closed down because no-one fleeing persecution in france deserved a luxury hotel with double beds and ten chairs for their guests.

It can stay empty! Even if someone buys it under new management it can get ta fook!!
They were warned ALL hotels no matter what who took the coin are no go zones. So even selling them isn't an option they still will be boycotted.
We don't forget that easily.

This hotel was built by a family who invested heavily in the local community, holding great events and celebrations, unfortunately, covid and lack of government support in hospitality meant that the bills were just too heavy to sustain, meaning the staff and owners had to seek new positions. The hotel went to market and sold without mention of it being used as it was, sad to see it now abandoned and a shameful reflection of what seems of importance by our government

Remember how quickly the homeless were given a place to stay when the government decided that there's a pandemic and we all need to stay in and away from eachother.
Evil is what id call all UK  governments since Tony Blair.

have you checked the crime stats for the area ? asked the council for costs on spending for "vandalism" and repairs before and after
