Nice, simple, concise presentation.  One thing that is missing is you did not address a hairy chest or hairy back situation.  Does the chest seal still work in that condition?

When should you use a vented vs non-vented? I can’t really find any videos on that comparison topic

So is this strictly for chest wounds? Or could it work anywhere you can’t apply a tourniquet? Like ribs, lower center mass?

Also if there is both an entry and exit wound, a single chest seal is largely pointless and can make things potentially worse.

The Comment is that a vented chest seal "will allow air out of the LUNGS but not into the wound". Shouldn't it be that the chest seal will allow air "OUT of the plural space (through the wound) but not allow air INTO the plural space (through the wound)". ? The function of the chest seal is to allow (as close to as possible) functioning of the lungs/diaphragm/plural space - isn't it?

Please tell me the time that the chest seal can be on the chest? How many hours?

What are the recommendations if the victim has chest hair? Are the chest seals able to handle that or is there something that would need to be done to improve the seal?

Excellent, very professional video, but I have one concern: I wouldn't stick my finger into a penetrating wound near the rib cage. I'd use forceps or (for example) a section of a splint to 'burp' the patient. If (for example) this is a gunshot wound near or through the rib cage you could strike broken, jagged edges of a rib, get cut and potentially be exposed to blood-borne pathogens. It's better to use an instrument other than your fingers.

I carry Tampons so I can plug and return fire, may not be good for a chest, I have a chest seal I am just missing the two medics and the smoke cover to help me LOL. It's just things happen so fast in a unexpected situation. Saving your life starts with knowing how to use tourniquets A chest seal is tough when you are alone, Mind the plumbing and then you one step ahead for the medics.
