Christopher Reeve is absolutely my favorite Superman. Nice work on this.

There's never been a better introduction than Lois Lane asking "who are you?" And Superman simply says: "a friend."

Still the most perfect casting in film history,it’s like they were able to get Superman to play Superman

@TheBubbaclaw 1 year ago

STILL one of the best superhero movies ever made.

Every time I hear that John Williams’ score I feel a rise of hope in my heart. That’s what Superman really represents: the hope of humanity.

to me Christopher Reeve will always be the ONE & ONLY Superman

@Trumpstein6024 1 year ago

He'll always be my favorite. NOBODY can replace him as the one and only Superman.

I saw this at the flicks with my pals in 1978.

We all loved it, and when Superman appears for the helicopter rescue, people stood up cheering and shouting- Come on Superman.

It was a real shared event.

To me, good though the Avengers films were, this is the very best Superhero film ever.

The cast were magnificent, while Christopher was out of this world.

I was devasted when he had his accident.

RIP To all the cast who are no longer with us.

Thank you very much for sharing this footage. I will always love this movie. You'll believe a man can fly. Verisimilitude. Christopher Reeve gave us his best performance. An extraordinary painstaking work a masterpiece in filming. There will be no other actor to match him in his role. In loving memory of Christopher Reeve the best & only SUPERMAN ❤❤❤

Correction needed: Jonathan Kent was played by Glenn Ford, not John Ford. (John Ford is a famous director of westerns some time before.)

Reeve is the goat of Superman !

My favorite scene is at the fortress of solitude and Jor El's face crystallizes and you finally see Reeve in the outfit. Then the music starts and you believe a man can fly.

Thank you so much for putting this on YouTube. This was such a delight to watch. And I still believe Clark Kent and Superman belongs to Christopher Reeve. He is my favorite Superman.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Congratulations to the gentleman who create the Popcast content. This video is outstanding. My dad took me to see this movie back in 1978. It’s a special memory for me. We got a Kings Row mention and a Brainiac mention too

Superman The Movie and Superman II were the first two movies I watched with the Superman of my life, my late father. I was barely 3-4 years old, but since then Superman became my de facto childhood hero! 😍😋

I even had a dream about him lifting me up and carrying me in his arms while flying in the sky! 🤭

It’s all thanks to Christopher Reeve who made me believe that a man can truly fly - he is forever my definitive Super Man! 🥹

I was born in february 1988. Christopher Reeve is my Superman / Man Of Steel / Last Son Of Krypton. Forever.

Thank you for this very good video. Although I didn't like all those AI effects: I would prefer still pictures than those one.
Anyway, apart from that, you did a great job and this Superman movie is one of my all-time favorite movies ;)
