I filmed trains arriving & departing from Matsumoto Station.

Located in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, this station serves three lines operated by two companies—JR East Shinonoi Line and Ōito Line, and Alpico Kotsu Kamikochi Line—making it the second-largest station in the prefecture.

It is a ground-level station featuring four platforms and seven tracks (numbered 1 through 7), with tracks 6 and 7 situated apart from the other platforms.
Although a "Track 0" platform existed until November 2025, it is currently out of service.
Tracks 1 through 5 are used by Shinonoi Line trains; Tracks 5 (select trains) and 6 by Ōito Line trains; and Track 7 by Alpico Kotsu Kamikochi Line trains.

Limited express trains primarily use Tracks 1 through 3: the ''Shinano'' bound for Nagoya departs from Track 1, while the ''Azusa'' bound for Shinjuku and the ''Shinano'' bound for Nagano use Tracks 2 and 3.
Limited express ''Azusa'' trains that run through to the Oito Line, as well as special (seasonal) limited express trains, depart from and arrive at Tracks 4 and 5.
With the exception of certain through-services to the Oito Line, the station serves as the starting and terminal point for the limited express ''Azusa''
