The reason these collections get so big is, firstly they don't want to part with anything (A good investment). Secondly then they want to much money for them ( Dreaming). Third: The cars become very rusty and unrestoreable. Fourth: They pass away and the cars for scrap or very cheap. I am nearly 80 and seen this many...,many times.

its a pity you didn't have someone with more knowledge of older cars along with you. You did a good job but some of the cars are pretty easy to identify for us old blokes.

Proof that the more sheds you have, the more things you find to place in them.

What intrigues me is that most of the tyres still have air in them.

At least you can say I saw that collection after the fire

That red thing looks lik an early Alfa Romeo Gulietta the soup stirrer gear lever and shap of the rear gives it away

Adelaide has alot of hidden gems thanks for showing  !

The expression OMG comes to mind. Previously I have owned and restored Triumph Mayflowers. I noticed (you walked right past it, twice) a Triumph Renown, the Mayflowers big brother. Both cars were described as having razor edge style, but both are very different cars. The Mayflower was a small 2 door with a steel body welded to a steel chassis. The Renown was a big 4 door with a steel and aluminium body on a wooden frame which sat atop a steel chassis. The earliest Renowns had a tubular steel chassis in contrast to later box section chassis. I owned an early tube chassis Renown in deconstructed condition. As my working life took me around Australia I was unable to keep it and I have regretted selling it ever since. I grew up in Adelaide and owned the Renown and Mayflower there. I would dearly love to know where I might go just to look that Renown over. It's in better condition than the one I sold.
More recently I have taken an interest in Volvos after owning 2 240s in succession and realising they are a joy to drive. I have a 940 wagon and a 240 GLE sedan. I will not part with them and will restore them to enjoyable driving condition. I mention this because I clearly saw a rare Volvo 242 and outside there was a red Volvo 240. Volvos are unkillable and with a little TLC go forever. (personal opinion). Thank you for the guided tour, apart from the razor edge Triumphs and the Volvos there are many other beautiful cars.
Many of them appear to be unfinished projects. I hope the owner gets to finish some and enjoy driving them.

22:50 in, Triumph Herald 2 door coupe, motor was based on a Massey Ferguson tractor engine of the petrol variety.

The Abiss.  You sure the minaltor doednt live there. Ask Ullissies 😂

Going through that place you need someone like myself who actually knows his cars i would love to go through that place again but with you guys

Big big prpoerty. Mind blowing

I can’t believe how many times you say “cool”, but great vid. Thanks for sharing

Insane collection of vehicles.  If I wasn't for people like this many may have not survived.  Honestly not my favourite brand of cars but man you got to respect the man that put this collection together

the 'Scimitar' is actually a Reliant Scimitar GTE, and English fibreglass car usually running Ford Capri V6 gear. Made by the same people that made the horrendous 3 wheeled Reliant Robin

Good ? No overwealmingly good

Great collection but they need to be rescued. Wow amazing collection

24.28 behind the Volvo is a Citroen BX

Mad collection. Good for nerds

Man that is priceless,a absolute Gold Mine!!
