It's finally cooler, so I went for a walk. My first one since I moved here. The rice is ripe, and the red spider lilies are out.
Back home, I ground coffee beans and made steamed bread in the microwave, with rice flour. Halfway through pouring in the flour, the scale went dark. When it came back on, it started from zero, so I added what looked about right. It came out dense and a bit hard. The jam I made from the pears my daughter sent helped.
Then my gray hair. One of my kids pointed it out not long ago, and I'd been putting it off for about half a year. Today I did a color rinse at home. I can't see the back, so I went mostly by feel. While I waited, I knocked the shower on.
For dinner, autumn salmon, thirty percent off. I went to check the color underneath, and it flipped all the way over, with no color on it at all. I put it back and kept going. It was fine in the end.
Not everything went right today. But I got through all of it.

On the same day, the scale went dark, I knocked the shower on, and the salmon flipped over. But I got through all of it.
Is there something you've been meaning to do, but keep putting off? I'd like to know I'm not the only one.🤍
