I want to say thank you for your channel! I am 53 and just started pottery in 2026 and your videos are inspiring, educational, and a pleasure to watch! Again, a heartfelt thank you!

Other people's studios are always fascinating to me, and yours has such a good balance of cosy charm and practically. I can but aspire.

The wall of curtains reduced the echo as soon as you pulled them across. Great idea! What a cozy studio!!!

That lamp especially in that orange is such a throwback - I swear I had that growing up in Germany. ICONIC

4:44 edward hopper is an amazing American artist. I love his work because it feels like an experience all of us have had. Ephemeral while grounded in reality. Great inspiration for pottery.

Use cork behind the bench on the wall it'll dampen sound

Normally I don’t like fabric curtains as doors but because you explained, I get it. I think you’ve done well to bring in light & make it feel like a little studio & not the typical basement of a home. Yellow isn’t my favourite colour but it really suits the room & I’m glad you’re another step closer to having everything as you want it to be 👍

If you're ever in need of a large amount of fabric cheap use painters drop clothes (non-coated) - wash them a couple times and they are super easy to work with! Your studio looks amazing!!

my much smaller basement studio space is currently cluttered to nonfunctional but seeing your functional space has me feeling motivated to get mine working again ✨

The studio is looking good. It's cozy, warm inviting. The light is great. Gradually add the sound foam on the ceiling as you can afford it to dampen the sound, it has already made a massive difference.

that colour looks so good with the plywood and it's making the white pottery on your display shelf shine ✨

Nice video!
You should take off the grid from your softbox to make light "softer" and less like "flashlight" :)
The grid is used to direct the light which makes it harsher
Also you have a light color celling and you can bouce light from it to light the room and make it even softer

Love this video! So cool to hear your process and how intentional all parts of your studio are :)

I think the canvas curtain is perfect. It goes well with your pottery on your top shelf there and your wooden chair. Very nice.

I love how well thought out your studio is and the color looks great!

Thank you for your presentation.
It was very interesting (I even managed to take notes about the books you have, and just bought on of them!)
Your studio is really warm and it is really pleasant to see how proud of it you are, smiling all the time.
I'm about to create my own tiny studio to make my pottery, and your video had validated what I've planed to do, plus it gave me new ideas.
And BTW I'm just discovering your channel, and your beautiful smiling face 🙂
Have a nice evening (in Germany!)

this is so cool, your work has definitely paid off since it feels a lot more cozy and aesthetic. I love the doorway area. I'm starting my own pottery studio in my back patio area so this is super helpful to see!

it would be so cool if you did an in depth video about how you film if you haven't done that already! as an aspiring content creator for pottery, i'd love to know the deets!
