Very thorough review Karin.

Pro tip: if you every forget to return the mirror lock up switch to the off position, don’t just take a blind shot. Switch it off, then stitch the double exposure on and take a photo with the lens cap on, and advance. Then turn off double exposure, and take the lens cap off and you are free to shoot without having to waste a frame! Happy shooting!

I also recommend the 135W back, love mine.

My beloved Pentax 6x7 died on me this week and I'm in the market for a new (lighter) medium format. Considering that it weighted about 2.7 kilos on a good day, I'm more than happy to trade it in for 1.3 kilos

Thank you very much for video! I love it and I'm so grateful for it. Like many others, I also believe this camera does not get the full recognition it deserves. I love some other wonderful people who do camera reviews. They are very talented individuals who I deeply admire. But, to my sadness, they haven't done one on the Bronica. I' m still holding my breath on them. I also, loved your photos which you kindly posted with this video. I love them dearly, especially the one of the couple camping. Stole my heart. Karin, that's one of the best camera reviews and how-to-use videos I've encountered, and I've seen a lot of them. I chose this because there is a used ETRSi at a nearby camera store and while I shoot Fujifilm GFX medium format digital, I have wanted to go back to film sometimes. I see no point in going to 35mm film because digital now is so versatile and the resolution so good, you are really taking a step backward in 35mm. But with the 645 format, although I expect my GFX100S can equal the resolution of 6x4.5 or better it, the size of the film compared to the size of the medium format sensor means shallower depth of field and that "medium format look" (56 x 41.5mm on 120 film vs 43.8 x 32.9mm on the gfx sensor). So: do I get it or not...I guess the one thing that would decide it is how much do I want to spend--not on the camera but on film, processing and scanning.

I have had one of those for more than six months and it has a long-ish learning curve. That's why I am here. The magazines are hard to attach to the body, which means trouble from the start for a new user. You make it look easy.
