I prefer X-Wing without rubber bands to be honest

The 2010s were definetly peak lego. The only benefit of the 2021 x wing is that it was $40 usd less than poes last x wing.

The 2020 is very underrated even though it has some flaws I'm not gonna lie but it might be nostalgia bias

I wont lie, the new republic x wing isnt bad. Its much better than the 2021 lukes x wing, and it has no rubber bands that will wear out over time. The mechanism will work forever. I do wish it was a little smaller and i wish the area behind the cockpit looked a littke better

But where is employer 2019 gift christmas xwing?

I picked up the 2018 T-65 recently for $90. Absolute peak set almost 10 years later

Ok you have to mention why the 2024 set did that option for the wings. That is because making a mechanism would be pointless due to the fact the set was made with a tie fighter that could be blended together to create uglies. So it makes sense why it had to be basic to work with what lego was doing.

I think my favorites are actually the black poes x wing, lukes 2018 x wing and the new 2026 new republic x wing. I think those are the best of all the sets here. 2026 being the one needing the most re work tho if you ask me

I bought a case of o rings to fix my Tar Trek mego dolls, had a load of the smaller ones left over and started using them for Lego sets...yet to have any break or  stretch.

bruh I’ve literally had the 2012 one in attack position for like 10 years (it’s like hung up by strings) and the rubber bands still work good as new. The 2018 and 2020 ones are so much better than the newer ones, they’re not downsized and still look great, that newer mechanism doesn’t look the best..
