I know I pronounced Edgard Varese's name wrong. Thanks to the thousands of people who remind me that on a daily basis. Acknowledged. Thank you.

Frank Zappa's music was so profound to me that as a kid I'd call Barking Pumpkin Records often to express my admiration. They never hung up on me! Made friends with all the employees and Gerry Fialka his publicist. One day Frank himself got on the phone and said "Mike I've been hearing great things about you. I want you to do college radio promotion for me". This was my launch into an amazing career that included Enigma Capitol Sony Columbia and then starting my own PR company. Thanks to genius Frank.....🎉❤
Don't smoke cigarettes folks. I miss him dearly. ❤❤❤❤

I'm so glad this is narrated by a human and not AI.

Help I'm a rock.

Mercury, Radium and mustard gas is wild. We’re lucky we got any adult Zappa at all.

Should I be ashamed if my favorite growing up was titties and beer 😂.  Shout out to chrissy

Great document of a true musical genius! I have been a lifelong fan and continue to be enthralled by his albums. Awesome work Jimmy! Rock on brother!! 👋👋👋🤘🤘🤘

He’s dead. That’s pretty much his only issue. Other than having been dead 25 years, he’s flawless.

I’m 21 and had just started listening to Frank Zappa with my older brother who’s 28 and the first song he showed me was Saint Alfonso‘s pancake House from apostrophe
As a musician with ADHD that is the most perfect jazz fusion track I have ever heard.

He finally went to montana to become a dental floss tycoon.

I'm originally from Lancaster, California. My father attended Antelope Valley High School with Frank Zappa. My father knew him and didn't like him. He thought he was weird. Knowing Zappa's connection to where I grew up, I tried to get into his music. I never could.

Unique. There will never be anyone like him again.

I’ve read “The Real Frank Zappa Book”; an autobiography which goes into tremendous detail about his life and views on important issues. He was a truly intelligent, creative and empathetic man who wasn’t afraid to speak the truth. It’s a book that’s wonderfully interesting - even if you don’t know his music. His stance on freedom of speech as explained in the book should be part of school curriculum. He didn’t just spout a bunch of meaningless oneliners, he could back his opinions up with rational thought and logic.
I really recommend this book; it’s really one of a kind.

Frank and all the musicians that played with him.. The Best♥️

"Jazz isn't dead, it just smells funny."

Tinseltown Rebellion was my first Zappa album as a 16 year old in a small South Australia town.

A True Master of his Art......RIP  Frank

Saw Frank at the Beaux Arts in Brussels in 1971 with Flo and Eddie, my first concert. I was hooked. Saw him twice afterwards, bought a ton of his albums. GREAT video by the way. Loved your Danny Gatton one too.

Thanks! I’ve been a Zappa fan for over 50 years and I learned some things

This is one of the most profound and respectful homilies to Zappa that I've seen. I've been following him since 1969 and was stoked when he came to Australia. Since then, I've been lucky to have seen Dweezil a few times here and also in the USA. Glad that Dweezil is still carrying on his father's music.
